Based off what we know about the Noirs, how do you feel about them being in a part of the story? Should they have been introduced later or maybe never introduced to begin with?

interesting premise initially but very quickly wore out its welcome. we didn't need another "dark side" faction again in the story, especially back to back after Azami
I like them. I think they have interesting designs and I don't really mind the unique ways that they cook. However, they're being mowed down pretty quickly and thrown away like they're nothing.

We The North
They should have been introduced earlier.

Now that I think about it, I’m surprised that Azami didn’t mention the Noirs.![]()
most likely he didn't care for them, given how unsavory they appear to be with his standardsThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote![]()
Hm good point. Do you think the Noirs themselves would try to stop him if Souma and Co. failed? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Asahi would like the challenge I guess, but they'd be unaffected since Azami's goal is to change the light side. criminals would still be criminals, they wouldn't care unless Azami goes after them next. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Figured Azami would go after them as well since I thought he wanted to affect everything regarding cooking light or dark didn’t matter to him. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote![]()
don't really see how that would benefit him tho, since dark chefs aren't really "institutionalized"This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote![]()
Because if there are criminals cooking in a way that doesn’t fit his views I can see why he wouldn’t like it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote![]()
but they're not part of his institution, how's he gonna go after them, challenge them to shokugekis and if they lose they join his institution to learn his way or just stop cooking all together? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
my point is, he can go after the light side because they're institutionalized so he can force them to accept his ways or put them out of business. it's really hard to do that with noirs since they work for a whole bunch of other criminals so unless Azami is the world's top mafia boss as well, he's not gonna be able to touch them.
