so kan ki's been in on ou sen's grand plan this whole time

    - - - Updated - - -

this can only mean the outcome of the battle on the shukai plains is inconsequential now

can't help but be a little disappointed in that

hope shin and ou hon pull off something amazing before ou sen's plan ends the war

It's been so long since we've seen the Shukai Plains that I kind of forget what has been happening.

Huh? Anything Ousen is thinking, Riboku is likely thinking the same. I never really got the vibe that Kanki knew what Ousen was doing though.

    Fucking finally

The ryouyou part was damn funny

So SSJ did went to Retsubi, well his army wasnt a factor anymore but now so its YTWs at least for now. If she could get her army in shape again she could break trough the barriers but they clearly dont have the time anymore.

    Kanki trolling again

Hara just skipped the end of the 9th Shukai day

by the looks of it he didnt even had the intention of at least telling what happened, I was really sure he would flashback the end but he just left the questions in the air lol

Thats not what I got from the chapter and theres no way the outcome of Shukai is inconsequential.

So Hara actually really skipped the whole thing with Ouhon and Akakin and let them escape that easily

Probably got another 20 chapters tbf. Minimum. It's not really hard to figure out how they escaped, tho it woulda been nice.

-I laughed hard at Shunmen's joke. Still, glad that Bajio's alive.

-SSJ got back to Retsubi? I'm really confused why Yotanwa just let them go or why won't she go and help Ousen.
    .
-the situation gets nervous for Kanki. It makes sense, since his troops lack discipline.

-the game is moving to the final stage. If no one will do anything then the right wing gonna get destroyed without Akou. And Ousen not doing jack shit as always.

Kanki is referring to "Ousen's lackeys"? There is no way he is talking about soldiers. It's something else, outside of the battlefield.

Judging by the fact that Ousen is not concerned by the Right wing, something is very likely to happen soon that will turn the tables.

theres was a lot of things happening for he to just pretend there wasnt lol.

Bananji and Gyou'un were right on Ouhon and Akakins tails and the HSU HQ was about to be attacked so how this turned out?

seems like ou sen pulled something that may even be outside of ri boku's imagination this time.

kan ki said, in quote, "those lackeys of ou sen sure are taking their sweet time. can they get any slower?"

if he were referring to the pace of the battle in atsuyo he would've spoken in regards to ou sen himself, not his underlings. he also spoke as if the result of the war is a foregone conclusion, and it was only a matter of time until ou sen's "lackeys" accomplished whatever task was assigned to them.

kan ki can be cocky, but not so much so that he'd just assume ou sen can do away with ri boku on a whim. seems obvious based on kan ki's statement there that ou sen tasked some men to do something behind the scenes that'd force a premature end to this war, and kan ki was privy to that information. not really anything else he could've been talking about.

also, if ou sen was still depending on a win over ri boku on the shukai plains he certainly would've passed down some orders or something to ou hon and shin. we all know far too well that he's not the type to gamble on his chances of victory like that, and we alread know sending reinforcements to them wasn't apart of his plan from the beginning. surely he hasn't abandoned the right wing, but evidently he doesn't care about their victory anymore either.

Kanki is the man closest apart from akou currently to being aware of Ousen's aims.

Irregardless of whether he actually knows his plans.

Perhaps Ousen said something interesting to him prior to the battle or kanki's just guessing Ousen's goals.

Regardless, the term Ousen's lackeys is a no-brainer, he's not one to accomplish a victory without using them as needed. Even as bait.

tbf, we already knew they planned to escape with the severed path stratagem, and bnj/gyou'un couldn't do much about it without the support of their full army

would be kinda redundant to go back to the 9th day just to show them escaping. which is why hara skipped it.

I guess. If this idea is true, then perhaps we're close to seeing what Ousen asked SHK for. I think Kanki may just be talking about all the underlings under Ousen + new gen though.

It was obvious that they would escape, just the conclusion of it is cheap.

Probably the same as often happens (or attempts to happen). They were on their tail but never caught them. Probably due to Akou's men blocking the path or something. It woulda been nice, but I can see why Hara hasn't shown it given the amount we still have to see. Showing it would push everything further behind and we'd probably have "this chapter was slow" complaints lol.
