Wait, shouldn’t it be cm^3 and not m^3? In order to multiply for destruction values?
nevermind, Point Withdrawn

Yeah, I angsized the height of the cylinder and then plugged it into the cylinder calculator(I posted the link)This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

It'd be a spherical cap. It's a crater, an omnidirectional explosion wouldn't core the earth to form a cylinder.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Not sure about the depth you got either. Did you try to angsize the bottom of the crater? You also didn't subtract Acno's height above the sea level from the height obtained.
The thing is, it looks nothing like a spherical cap. The crater would be round in that case, but it goes vertically down, implying that it's a cylinder.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I guess you could argue that it is a "capsule"
Using a cylinder is the only real way to scale it using angsizing tbh, and a capsule wouldn't lower the volume too much.
Yeah, I angsized from the bottom of the crater, but used the height of the crater instead of the panel height to find the distance.
Anybody gonna take note of the clear fact that the island being that small would make the GH ship smaller than a shack?

@Numinous One;
Hmm, actually, after giving it a 2nd glance, I realized what you meant. I saw the perspective wrongly at first, which is why I thought of using this method. But yeah, you're right. It would also make more sense considering Acno's blast looked like a spherical cap as well. My bad on that one, will fix that.

your scaling of the gh ship has already been discussed to death. this line of discussion can be seen as derailing the thread at this point. might have you sit this one out if this keeps up.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Even a 100m tall ship would make the island 20km wideThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If the island was as small as your claim you'd be able to see it in the over head or side panels, yet you can't.
If the level of evidence goes against the island being small then it isn't small.

Reason to recalc his Roar?
Acno is>Etherion,which is>Islandlevel
scary close to the 4 gigs I got way back in the day
Ok, so now that I woke up after a not so good night sleep, I'll fix a few flaws I noticed.
First of all, the crater height. After looking at it again, it seems that a part of the lower spherical cap was above ground, so the crater height should be lower.
Explosion Height = 590 px
Upper Spherical Cap Height = 390 px
Lower Spherical Cap Height above ground = 590-390 = 200 px
<=> Lower Spherical Height under ground(a.k.a crater height) = 390 -200 = 190 px = 1223.15825 meters
Only the height changed, so the new spherical cap volume is:
V = 12155732613.41 m^3
Violent Fragmentation(Low-End):
E = 12155732613.41 m^3 * 1000000 * 69 j/cc = 838745550325290000 joules = 200.4 megatons(Mountain level)
Pulverisation(High-End):
E = 12155732613.41 m^3 * 1000000 * 214.35 j/cc = 2605581285684433500 joules = 622.7 megatons(Mountain level+)
Well.....
Secondly, I noticed that my water height scaling was wrong, so I rescaled it
New Water Height = 75 px= 866.3139204545454525 meters
A cylinder(this part should be a cylinder since it was the middle of the main blast), so:
V = 15861556298.222 m^3
Vtenrou =8375606683.5189 m^3
V’ = V – Vtenrou = 7485949614.7031 m^3
Density of water = 1000 kg/m^3
Mass = V’ * D = 7485949614703.1 kg
The math remains the same, so:
E1 = 85 * 4186 * 7485949614703.1 kg = 2663575732407510011 joules
E2 = 7485949614703.1 kg * 2257000 J/kg = 16895788280384896700 joules
E = E1 + E2 = 19559364012792406711 joules = 4.674 gigatons(Small Island level+)
<=>
Low-End:
0.2 + 4.674 = 4.8 gigatons(Island level)
High-End:
0.622 + 4.674 = 5.296 gigatons(Island level)
So island level either way. The funny part is that vaping the water was faaar more impressive than the blast itself![]()
The panels are super smallThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Where do you guys see vaporization ?
How else do you get rid of water almost instantly, unless you want to assume the beam pushed it out of the way which is uh... questionable.
The bigger problem is the crater might as well be just left by fairy sphere taking the island away.
