They might work now. If not it was the bear swiping the guy's face off and Sugimoto getting stabbed through the cheek.
    Much better.

Yeah, the series can have some fairly graphic and brutal scenes like these in it. Really helps that the series is almost lighter all around so when these scenes do happen they pack one hell of a punch.

Oh? Could the faceless man actually be Asirpa's father, perhaps? He would have known about the villages hidden gold supply.

Yeah, I figured they wouldn't randomly stop at Chapter 16.

More noteworthy moments, Sagimoto demolished some dudes while strapped to a chair and the old Samurai just wrecked the gang of some other criminal he was trying to recruit.

Sugimoto and that chair was pretty funny. Especially as he was still flipped over when the new guards came in.

This guy is pretty beastly himself. I like that there's a good diversity of these criminals out there, the escape artist and him have been a lot of fun so far. He's actually a guy that might be easy to root for if he wasn't going up against the heroes.

Escape King keeps coming in clutch.

Hunter got killed by a second wolf which was a fitting way for him to go out. Escape King got away from some chaos in the city. That Judo guy is ridiculous, flipping over horses and everything.

The series doesn't go too over the top but he's still a guy that feels like he can't be stopped, which is good. He's one of the big villains and is meant to carry that power to him.

The Judo Master Ushiyama acknowledges your praise, GP!

@Void; can you make me a GK ava?

Oof, a betrayal perhaps? I'm not sure what he was thinking he would accomplish by going after that Judo guy alone, but I suppose I can't blame him too much for spilling the beans in front of these guys. I feel he probably has a larger game plan in all of this and maybe aimed to be captured, it's hard to tell.

The immortal vs the serial killer, this one should be a good matchup.

Guy ended up dying to a whale, I guess that's the happy ending he was looking for.

How did you feel about the serial killer's... reactions to watching Sugimoto use tools?

Ehehe, another touchdown for the Bears.

Saw it coming, I guess it was somewhat predictable plot twist the moment he dropped her name though, not many other options on who it could be.

It's clear he fetishizes death, which is amusing until you realize that this behavior all stems from seeing his brother eaten by a boar, then it just becomes disturbing.

Was kind of weird they threw that bit of backstory to him. Would've been better without it.

Introduced to a thunderstorm? This person is obviously evil! Probably a prisoner in disguise.

Wow, they didn't even try to keep the rouse going here. Another serial killer, but this one is significantly more creepy. Anyways, judo guy just entered the hotel so I'm guessing this serial killer is not going to be in business much longer.

Chapter 51 was pretty much a comedy from start to finish, wasn't what I was expecting from the initial scene, but I like the direction it went it.

Ushiyama is about to suffer his first defeat... is what I'd like to say. Don't see Sagimoto being able to triumph at this stage, but this will be a good chance to see how he compares to the beast.

This Goldilocks reboot is pretty intense.

Couldn't have the tattoo on his torso because of his existing Yakuza tattoos, that's a good twist right there.

That last panel looks wrong without context, gonna hold onto it in case I need it for future use.

Finished that one up, that was some love story.

I'm honestly not sure whose the crazier one between the Lieutenant and Leatherface here.

That catwalk was something I could have lived without, but I like the plan to impede the others by sending out a bunch of fakes.

You'll have a few more panels you can "hold on to" by the end of this.

And yeah, Edogai is downright in the same tier of batshit insanity as some of the other prisoners and leaders.

You mean being a guy? I saw it coming and it didn't sit long enough to be a twist since it was revealed in a few pages. I thought the Murder Hotel was one of my favorites altogether. It felt like a blend of comedy and horror elements and seeing Sugimoto meet up with the Judo Master was a nice treat.

I did expect Ienagi to be a one hit wonder, not sure what they're going to do with him sticking around but it adds to the dynamic a bit.

Ogata joining their group I felt was a more interesting turn and made them that much more dangerous, a sniper makes them a much scarier force in a way that another martial arts specialist wouldn't have been able to.
