You are telling me that if I read all of the visual novel episodes that you linked, I would have read all that was relevant to umineko canon?

and that all of the manga you linked is a faithful adaptation of the main canon?

Yes, a theme of the series (at least a part of it) is similar. However, unlike in And Then There Were None, you have to use your head to understand what's going on in Umineko.

    Correct.

Yes, the manga is a faithful adaptation of the visual novel, however there are some things that are different. The manga explains the culprit of the Rokkenjima massacre more directly, its culprit and culprit's motives. I could try to explain it a little bit better, but I don't want to spoil anything.

    I hope so.

Oh, yeah. There's a lot of cute stuff, yes...

I highly recommend the visual novel. While the manga is really good, vn is on another level. Don't worry, you can download it when you're on your computer.

I'm not sure why would you want to see that even before reading the series, but there you go. Don't read it unless you don't mind spoilers.

    S Tier:
    The Creator
    ---------------------------
    Featherine

    A Tier:
    Bernkastel/Lambdadelta
    Overlord Cats
    ---------------------------
    Ange Ushiromiya
    ---------------------------
    Battler Ushiromiya

    B Tier:
    Bern's cats
    Beatrice
    Furudo Erika
    Willard H. Wright
    Dlanor A. Knox
    Virgilia
    Eva-Beatrice
    Maria Ushiromiya

The rest of characters are either simply too weak unless manifested in a higher dimension or their strength depends on their master's strength.

Just read Chapter 2 of Episode 2. Is it just gonna be the same story but from Shannon's perspective?

Also I'm digging the new art style.

You'll see in a few chapters. That's where the actual story begins.

As I mentioned this before, aside from episode 1 and 3, each episode have was drawn by a different mangaka, therefore it has a different artstyle. Can't such much about the artystyle of episode 2, but my favorite is either from episode 5 or 8.

    I enjoyed the manga immensely.

The last episode was a bit worse than the rest. To much nonsense and things that was to far removed from the rest of the story.

The real world is cold! The real world doesn't care about spirit! You want to be a hero? Then play the part and die like every other Huntsman in history! As for me, I'll do what I do best: lie, steal, cheat and survive!

Well, some characters looks kind of childish. For example, Shannon. But yeah, facial expressions are awesome. That's probably the best thing about the manga.
