What kind of story appeals to you?

What do you look for in a book?
What do you like, what dont you like.

A exciting story that makes me want to read further and also for it to be easy to read is pretty much what i'm looking for.

One thing i really liked about A Song Of Ice And Fire is not only are the novels awesome, they are also easy to read.

Choose your own adventure or War themed ones.

I am yet to explore other genres...

    it has to be fantasy.

If it's nonfiction, at least some sad backstory/settings to make me even read it.

Yeah that's important. A good start makes you want to read more when a slow start can put you off from reading further.

Have you ever heard of Choice Of Games? It's a gaming company who only makes interactive fiction, meaning CYOA, and they have around 100+ books for reading right now.

I have one that isnt fantasy but still, the only light novel ive actually gone through the trouble of reading rather than waiting for the anime.

I'll take note of that and buy some of their books when I have my own steady source of disposable income.

I appreciate good writing. I'm not picky about anything else. And by good writing, I mean simply good grammar and well mapped out and connected prose. I will read and probably enjoy anything that meets those standards.

I like romance, adventure, history, and humour. I also like lighthearted reads that still have some depth, but still retain that element of whimsy and understand that books are at the end of the day about simple enjoyment.

I don't like to be preached at. I don't like imbeciles who think their writing is oh so deep. I don't like poorly written works like 50 Shades of Grey. I don't like anything that is resolved too easily without loss or suspense.

My favourite book is The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett

I'm not like that. I kinda feel guilty for not supporting the creators of my favourite things (including anime which I would by merchandise for) so I plan to buy them in paper copy.

Besides I'm not in a rush to buy books right now. I'm not exactly a book worm.

They're not paper books, they're digital, apps. They're interactive books, you're the one who chooses how the MC acts.
