Will the other first years ever close the distance?

Will the other first years such as Kurokiba, Alice, Hayama, and so on ever start to close the distance or is that a dream that will never come true?

Really missing the other first years tbh.

    Hayama never fell behind.

The only one better than Hayama currently is probably Souma and Erina.

    Pure facts only.

is it bad that i am not sure if hayama is really worse? i dont like him much but i have to admit that he is probably one of the best ones still.. he just didnt cook for the right reason and lost

dont they always say: you taste it if it's cooked with love...

which means..if you don't... it tastes weird or bad or normal.. so that's why he lost

he's fallen behind for sure, whether or not he's behind people like Takumi is iffy though, they had a training camp with the best of the best to improve while he's behind bars .-.

Takumi went from a joke to a decent chef, that's all.

    Stop hyping him too much

he took down the previous 9th seat and unless Eizan was actually the 10th seat, Takumi > Hayama

    'stronger'

    Souma won 3-0 without prep

Takumi won 3-0 with prep and practice

    there's a difference.

and Hayama faced a stronger Souma anyways

but of course he is, he could devour some elite tens if he was serious

and he lost even with all his bloated hype lol

    Eizan?

because he wasn't fighting for Jun and yet he gave Souma an extreme-diff match

    if he has her back...

by the main character who is stomping his way through the second years of the Elite Ten with 3-0

while Hayama pushed Souma to a 2-1

Like Void said he probably did fall a bit behind. I doubt he was improving his cooking once he was expelled from Totsuki meaning the 1st years still in the school have been training their butts off.

What I'd like more than that is for them to have spotlight and not have their moments being off-paneled all the time.
