I'm trying to recall a (might be) 90's good song that I listen to, but nothing older than the ones above seem to come to mind atm. I'll get back to it later.

had to edit this several times cuz alot of good ones are already taken. Basically I most listen to rock from the 90's music, and rarely do i tbh, but these two should be up there as well.

    Enter Sandman - Metallica
    Don't speak - no doubt

So many golden songs. Especially in terms of rap and disco
The 90s were truly the decade rap was at its peak, so many active hip hop legends at the time it's hard to narrow it down to three.

I'm going to change one of my picks.

    Smells like Teen Spirit- Nirvana

While I think this is a good track and an iconic classic that has the potential to go far in the tournament, I feel like Nirvana is already being represented by a better track here with Come as You Are. Going to change that 3rd choice to...

    Ruff Ryders' Anthem- DMX

    Goddamn,

I have a feeling people will throw a shitfit at barbie girl

and I want to pick Self Esteem.

    Self Esteem - Offspring.

    my last change.

  19. #39
I probably wouldn't have voted Barbie Girl myself but I thought it was an amusing choice for the tournament, its so sugary upbeat pop that it would have been fun seeing it go against some of the harder tracks on the list. Still not a bad alternative though, Offspring might have a better chance at advancing through.

I think this tournament is shaping up to be more interesting than the last one in any case. Not necessarily that the 80s music was worse, but you kind of knew from the beginning that Michael Jackson and Queen were going to be the juggernauts of the tourney. Looking through the roster this time I feel it's much more up in the air who is going to make it far and there's a lot of diversity in the selection all around.

I felt like Meru's choice didn't represent Offspring enough.
