If Oda pulls a fight climax i'm fine with it but if he drags it for the sake of dragging that's pretty awful indeed.

I'm not saying that it's the ONLY thing that matters. However, we're in the climax of the arc. The fight should take priority over anything else. I mean, Oda could have this chapter serve as a prelude and still not have it be as uneventful as it is. Altough I do agree that spoilers almost always make chapters look much worse than they actually are.

I'd be happy if Oda went through all the siblings in order of youngest to eldest + Smoothie if we actually got some short but sweet skirmishes.

Capone v. Oven(888&889), Sanji v. Dai, entire Vinnsmokes forces vs. Smoothie, Were-Carrot+Jinbe vs. Compote, and Revived Were-Pedro v. Perospero. Then end with Kata and Luffy moving into the real world. Arc concludes a little after 900.

It's sad that this is so unrealistic it wasn't even an idea/hope and we just count down for the arc to end.
