the tl;dr is providers can now choose which sites and individuals to attribute x amount of bandwidth, along with obvious privacy breaches.

They can basically now choose to charge you in order to make certain sites faster, expect things like, for example; 'Streaming premium packages' that speed up popular websites like netflix and youtube for you while leaving others on your normal net (though to note, that 'sped up' section would be as fast as your normal speed now, while your base speed is much lower).

It also enables them to slow competitors sites, unwanted news, etc.
Yeah, it fits the goverment agenda here.

Televisa sued Roku because they were a "pirate company" that was stealing "audience" So I can now Imagine Slim/Televisa/Etc copying this so we can only watch their shit shows, read their fake news, specially because next year we have elections.

They should've never made net neutrality a thing in America in the first place if people are gonna revolt in anyway

Just look how well I'm doing with no net neutrality whatsoever

This is an unfortunate result, but it wasn't unexpected. Guess we'll see where things go from here.

Regardless, congress has 60days to overrule this specific FCC vote that just occurred. It wont go into effect yet, currently its 50/50 in the senate, and many house GOP didnt support the repeal.

Maybe not even going to court

    We're fucked then.

But they evidently aren't rolling with it. Democrats, too, pretty much unanimously voted FOR net neutrality and this time is no exception.

Hell this is the first time some GOP figureheads are for net neutrality. It was just the FCC representatives that ended in a 3-2 vote (3 republican votes for the reppeal, 2 democrat votes against it.)

But, as already mentioned alot: It's a congress thing first, which for some mysterious reason has GOP support FOR it, and then a court thing when the army of lawyers wants a piece of pai.

then i don't really see it passing. i don't understand why anyone would go against the public in these times.
