Why you should read Made in Abyss

Why should one read Made in Abyss? Convince them veterans

For me, I'd say because of the unique art and world: art takes a little bit of getting used to, but it stands out imo while the world is full of intrigue and mystery that's certain to entertain. Plus the emotional moments are pretty well done.

Well if the artwork is great, let's see some of its best panels.

I have a hard time handling stupid teenager MCs, I can't imagine what a child-only cast must be like.

I wouldn't say the cast of MiA is that much worse than a stereotypical shonen cast, if at all. Immature yes because of lack of experience, but not at all obnoxiously bratty and dumb.

I'll do a proper write up when I get home. It's an amazing manga (haven't watched the anime) that I started reading with zero expectations and got absolutely blown away.

I almost dropped it within 5 pages because of that and I don't think I've ever been that wrong about a manga.

It's not a childish manga despite the child cast. Try it out and get past the first 3 chapters or so and determine your thoughts afterwards.

The child cast isn't that bad at all. Especially Reg.

True, I wasn't nearly as wrong about MiA as you are about Vinland.

    42 chapters, not volumes.

    The OP couldn't convince you?

uhh, if you want a good sense of adventure/mystery, this manga is for you. diverse and colorful world full of danger and tension. seeing as how you want good MCs, MiA's MC cast is okay nothing great or bad though. there's a pretty good villain later on so you might enjoy that

    idk

all i can say is that vinland is the objectively best manga i've ever read. An actual thought out work with strong themes excellently realized.
