    Kingdom chapter 531 discussion

    http://sensescans.com/reader/read/ki.../49/531/page/1

That has to be one of the best death scenes bar none, just brutal.

Shin going after Riboku with a raging hard on LMAO.

Had to delete my thread since you just posted a minute before me.

Damn, Riboku is a monster. The tension in this chapter was really high and I loved the double spread with where Shin and co are staring down at the battlefield. Also, I doubt Kisui will die here now. Wonder how Ousen will react.

Well the Kisui army was already said to possess an unreal amount of morale back in Kokuyou. Take out the enemy commander and it'll boost them even more. Easily twice and thrice than what would occur for a normal army

So they planned this beforehand and he's done it many times before, props to Riboku but the teleportation still hasn't been explained. I was hoping they'd mention the fast horses but nope, nothing. And so much for never unsheathing his sword huh?

Makou's got to be the dumbest "general" in the manga: careless, smug, and has someone hold his main weapon when he's the "best offensive general" in Ousen's army. Really looks bad on Ousen if he has someone like this guy working under him but let's just blame Shin for this.

And Shin chasing after Riboku alone while shouting like an idiot. It may be the best option to hunt down Riboku now but you don't yell like a monkey and go after him alone. Hell, might as well put up your flags so he can see where you are too.

True. Mihawk is stronger than both Shanks and Akainu. He can win against this version of Whitebeard with high or extreme difficulty.

That CUNT SpiRo can get the fuck out. The act of watching graphic stuff like that is not in and of itself bad. Ive always had a fascination with snuff and disturbing films. If youre going to argue that im not a good person or whatever because of that, then i guess every single person who likes action movies, manga, sports or anything that contains physical combat and violence must also be the same. There is a distinction between having an INTEREST in something and ADVOCATING or APPROVING of it.

What do you mean do I think Vergo could beat Sanji, it already happened in the manga.

Zoro is stronger than Vergo, was the same seat level as Pica and Zoro effortlessly put him down.

Zoro would beat Sanji with even less difficulty than he beat Pica.

No swordsmen can beat Doffy. The guy can stitch his internal organs after taking a Counter Shock hit, sword wounds are a piece of cake for him. Vista's Mihawk level Haki and base stats would probably push Doffy to high-difficulty though.

So, Shanks is the protege of the PK? and Mihawk is the protege of the Apes king ? both of them were on the same ship idiot, not even a hint on who Roger preferred from the both in the manga, and when did i fucking say that Shanks has no potential, didn't even say that he falls to Mihawk in that aspect, i'm merely saying that we can say who.

Monkey, Mihawk said that he ain't fighting Shanks in that specific meeting of their, and it was in a sarcastic way of denying because he didn't come for fighting unlike usual, he came for showing him Luffy's poster.

    Riboku, Kaine, or Futei

I wonder which one of them is gonna fall to Shin. Riboku can't pull a Gouhoumei'ed here.

I doubt Shins shout will be heard by Riboku on a big battlefield like this. Not to mention theres probably a million Zhaobarians shouting "RIBOKU-SAMA" right now because he made a kill and changed tides.

Chapter wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, nice death scene but execution of makou's death could have been carried out better. I think shins decision is right, at the point it would be way too difficult to get to Kisiu and even that may not salvage the situation as Batei is now free to intercede nd the pressure from makou and moutens unit on kisui is gone. .. Going for riboku now is the best choice with the best reward, and because shin reacted so fast HSU would cover a good distance before the Zhou soldiers can react.

  15. #15
    - Oh shit Makou didn't even have his glaive lol. Didn't see that in the spoilers.

    - What a death though

    - "Against an opponent that does not know I use such tactics, it is a guarantee of success" - Calling it now. Ousen figured Riboku may pull something, hence why he has Shin there to either deal with Kisui or box in any sneak attempt.

    - So I guess Riboku was lying when he told Duke Hyou he never unsheathes his sword. Guess it makes sense if he wants to keep it a secret.

    - Good chapter. Better than the spoilers suggested.

About the first, it is explained:

Look how sleek and slender Riboku's horse is! This is no break-through-barrel like Tou's, it was born for stealh & speed - the sound of it's hooves is to slow to catch up!

At least in the overview picture, Shin's horse is rather slender, so he might be the only one being able to catch up. And Shin, aside Kyoukai, is probably the only one out of HSU grasping that

    Srsly though
    - Riboku is an assassin, well, I guess he pulled one over us; and even stuck to his ploy by talking about never using his sword while meeting singled-out The Duke
    - damn, what a brutal death scene
    - Makou is beyond redemption... we have met guys older than time who swing their glaives around, waltzing through enemies like nothing all day long but Makou has to rest his arm? Or why would he give away his glaive?

So, what does Ousen make of this? Did he plan Makou as a sacrifice for Riboku's assassination all along? If so, how will he revitalize the left side (or smash another)? Or will he truly be shocked?

All in all, I find this hilarious

    EDIT:

Taking into account that he was alone with The Duke and us readers, this is a bit... stretchy. Second, The Duke had other worries.
Third, we readers could have blamed it on the one shot.
And most importantly, The Duke is no tattletale

We don't really need to know every time a group with Kaine in it has fast horses tbh. We already know she does iirc. I would like to have known how Riboku was able to sneak in (or why Makou left himself so open) though. It's not hard to fill in the gaps ourselves and make sense of it, but it still would have been beneficial if we wanna be ultra critical + nitpicky.

I actually would have preferred it if it was Futei on his own though. Riboku could have trained him or w/e. Just because I'm waiting for him to do something decent since I do think he's underrated. He's making it hard for me tho

Sure, im just trying to make sense of it lol. Maybe he was just talking about after he became a GG or something. Who knows. It was a bizarre statement to make considering an arc before we saw his arms with scars all over lol.

    That could kinda work
After all, from a GH's perspective, what is a "battle" beyond GG level.

A good writer can always use:
    a) evil Zhao king whipping Riboku.
    b) Riboku having a severe case of partial amnesia.
    c) Riboku having scars means he gets f**** up a lot, yet never dashes out himself, because ehm... pacifism. So better get Houken on his side before one day he bites the dust.

EDIT: yet did Riboku basically win his battle Yotanwa was swooning over by slashing Xiongnu-leader and then killing his headless troops? I hope not.

Meh Chapter, still not impressed with Riboku so far. We still don't know how he managed to sneak Or transport an entire army like that. Apparently Hara does not seem to think it important. And the idiot Makou letting go of his weapon in the middle ora fucking battlefield .
His so called great strategy is so Lame it's laughable. He really just expects to
win this battle by just randomly sneaking out and killing commaders huh. Riboku is really the aspect of Kingdom

From the looks of it, Riboku took maybe a few hundred (elites) at best plus Futei and Kaine for breakthrough power. As soon as Riboku's trick was noticed, Futei and Kaine were imediately pushing to get the f**** outta there, even with Makou's troops morale sinking and them being in shambles.

No point in arguing for Makou though, be it his lack of weapons or scouts.
