Yep, it's confirmed now, Ousen is the first General to force RBK unsheathed his sword and taking part at the front-line army in the pitched battle.
    Ousen is too awesome
Only because he didn't have his pet hobo

His pet hobo is too stupid to came up with that plan and tactic, so he's doing it himself
Ousen is smiling at this point for RBK stupidity despite his army numerical advantage

    Nah.

for the right hand of Ousen to lose by Riboku on a whim like that... is a far more smoother ride for Zhao
Kanki is doing fine. Yotanwa, despite being heavily outnumbered and with the addition of another army is still not only holding ground, but even claiming tactical positions (the hill) for herself. The right is pretty much in a stalemate with a very slight Zhao advantage, the middle isn't moving. Qin already had an advantage left with Kisui hard pressed like that. If Shin killed him now, Zhao's left would fall and, with it, all of Zhao.

I imagine this much isn't outside of Ousen's expectations, because that would make him an idiot, which we know isn't true. Still, losing one of his 2 most trusted officers won't be pleasant.

Lol at last week's bashing of Shin "He's taking Ten because he sucks, he can't even command 800 men"

Thank God he had the foresight to bring her, they're gonna need every officer they can get to rally the left flank now.
While it's good she's going to be there, I still think it's quite telling that Shin can't handle a serious situation on his own. He still seems to rely on her way too much. Which is rather sad for someone who's supposedly going to be "the greatest general under the heavens"

But who knows? Maybe we'll all be pleasantly surprised

    King magax from mangafox

Looks like proper the Chinese translation of the text is up so here it is:

    Ch530: The Ace Unit
    link: https://tieba.baidu.com/p/5305820405
    Summary:
-The plan to kill Kisui is to attack him from the center while Makou and Mouten are distracting him from the front and back
-Instead of trying for a sneak attack, which Shin determines that Kisui is bound to notice anyway, Shin prepares to just charge in openly and orders his men to raise the HSU flag.
-Kisui's men notices the 600-1000 men charging towards them with the flag of "Hi", identifying themselves as HSU
-Kisui orders a retreat to the final defensive line on the hill, which will mean that they will not be able to escape if they are surrounded.
-At this time, the remnants of Ryuudou's men, around 200 cavalry, offers to deal with HSU
-Meanwhile at Batei's battlefield in the frontlines, news of HSU's attack and Ryuudou's men defending against them has reach him. Batei is unable to assist them as he himself is barely able to deal with Makou's attacks.
-Kyokai made short-work of the attacking Ryuudou's men as HSU pushes on.
-Both the Qin allies at the front and back notices HSU's appearance and starts to make the final push to Kisui himself.
-The Qin armies surrounded Kisui after breaking through their outer formations
-While someone suggests to Kisui that they should retreat, Kisui rejects the idea as doing so will mean Batei's demise as well as breaking their current formation which is essential for their secret weapon
-At this time Riboku appeared and pierces Makou's throat.

Shin never changes and stupidity in the first day is must.

I think that Shin must kill Kisui so that makes the battlefield more balanced, with the leader of Qin's left wing dead and Zhao's right wing dead things would be more even.

I predicted Futei was going to claim the kill but Riboku himself is an even better strategy. Now the Qin may assume that Zhao's centre is lacking quality commanders due to Riboku's never-seen-before personal engagement. Gyo'un and Futei may brutally awaken the Qin in such case...

p.s I knew Makou wasnt worth much and death flags spawned on him with that Mouten "flashback" but it's kinda strange for a man like Ousen to have a number 2 of this caliber when he has been recruiting and building his kingdom for decades

As everybody guessed Makou died. I'm amazed at Riboku's special teleportation spell.

I suppose Mouten will take command of the left wing since he's the more capable as a strategist. They still have a small window of time to get Kisui before the news about Makou's demise spread, they may have a chance to capture Kisui.

Even when he's winning Riboku looks so damn lame

RBK himself venture forward and need to shallow his own pride as a back line strategist and draw his sword.
Ousen is too awesome for RBK

LMAO at Ousen's fuck up, because you are the only one here said that bullshit while everyone here know it was because RBK succeed with his sneak attack and Shin's failure to do the same

I still don't understand how RBK managed to sneak in an open terrain

Ousen's plan to kill Kisui better work out so that the war stays more even, I'd be disappointed if Ousen ends up with losing his left hand while RBK hasn't lost anyone from his side

Shin is fucking stupid as usual. And this is just the first day.

Kyoukai got cold feet after seeing some Rigan Doll ?

And where did Rebook get his teleportation device ?

It will be probably something like "Makou did not leave anyone in reserves to overwhelm kisui"

Makou is really just going to say 'oi...'

when the enemy is right in front of his face?

Riboku's shunkanidou is a divine skill. Wonder where he learnt this from
