I thought it was pretty good.

I got less of the references this time around. I did enjoy the James Bond opening.

I have no idea who Yukio is, but she looked cool.
    Domino luck power was great.
I have no idea why Cable decided to save Deadpool?
@Makenzye; X-Force? A Deadpool thing or a Cable thing? Was these guys supposed to die?

The real world is cold! The real world doesn't care about spirit! You want to be a hero? Then play the part and die like every other Huntsman in history! As for me, I'll do what I do best: lie, steal, cheat and survive!

I don't really care for Deadpool, but I went and saw this because the trailer looked pretty good and Josh Brolin and Terry Crews intrigued me. I thought the movie was alright, can't compare it to the first since I never watched it, but it was a pretty fun flick.

I thought it was unfortunate that the X-Force were all wasted like that without amounting to anything. I was surprised and pretty hyped to see Juggernaut surprise appearance, but I left a bit disappointed there since they could have just had any generic big strong guy fill the role. He was just sort of there to be the heavy guy for Colossus to fight.

It's a Cable thing. He's supposed to be the leader, here's hoping that's what Deadpool 2 is leading up to.

Too bad they killed Shatterstar though, I can't imagine X-Force without him.

Cable felt bad for Wade’s sacrifice. However X Force was originally a Cable and Domino thing.

just got back from watching DP2 and I dont know how to feel about it, I mean I was having some sort of expectations of this movie tying in with some of the previous movies especially with the whole Mr. sinister spaying but I shouldve taken deadpools word for it and had mid level expectations

There did feel like some scenes could've been cut down but I went in expecting a deadpool film and it delivered true to its name. It's not supposed to be serious its meant to do whatever the writer wants with little real world consequences and Ryan Reynolds made a film he loved, it made me laugh, and I dont regret the 2 hours of my life spent in the theater.

    I enjoyed the characters a lot. ;)

Did you stay for the end credits?

He fixes the time machine and goes to save Vanessa and Peter. It doesn't show it but if the producers want to make a deadpool 3 or x-force the plot device is there. Ryan Reynolds spoke that he isn't reaching out to make a deadpool 3 since too many films would kill the originality of the character. Just a small budget and a fun story is what he prefers

I suspect he'll be mysteriously missing in any future films. But since there might not be a full DP 3 for years to come, I suspect we might not be worrying about that.

X-Force is in the works, which is partially why there's not a DP3 in active works yet.

I'm happy with that outcome. I liked the characters so expanding on them is a smart decision imo. I sort of wish Disney would throw in deadpool into one of their future marvel films as a cameo or even a short "I've got to save the world" moment when another big bad guy shows up. he doesn't have to do a fight scene just show up after the fights over and be like "shit biscuits I knew I should've ubered here!"

Maybe we could trade him in for Bob, agent of Hydra.

Now that Marvel has access, they can bring back Bob from the first movie.

@Makenzye; I just went to see the movie again and I can’t believe that I missed it but that mutant orphanage has Essex in the name, OMG, another hint to Mister Sinister to be the main villain? Perhaps in the Dark Phoenix Movie?

It'd be interesting if they tried to hook those two together through more than just a shared element.

I'm thinking at best it will be referenced how Sinister got some of his samples through orphanages.
