One of the most interesting things that I find in the Quran is the description of the Sun and Moon. There's a basic explanation of the rotation of the planet, how the sun comes out from the east etc... It's really fascinating
    Can you post the verses?

Isn't it also mentioned in the Qur'an that the Sun also revolves? And idk when exactly but it was only discovered it revolves around the centre of the Milky Way in the 20th or current century.

not even PoPs puts any weight on arguments like this.

In any case, its just another instance of someone selectively interpreting verses in light of whats already known

I believe there's a Hadith that alludes to that. But when it comes to science you ant to be careful. Science is always changing and not able to arrive at absolute truths.

    Rational and innate evidence.
that still presupposes the validity of the 3 laws of logic, induction, the uniformity of nature etc

That's innate knowledge/evidence. Some things are true just because they are. For example, that 2 = 2.

2=2 presupposes the 3 laws of logic, in particular identity

Theres a reason the law of identity is considered properly basic and axiomatic. It is IMPOSSIBLE to verify without begging the question, and EVERY proposition/statement/assertion implicitly assumes it is true

That ultimately means that 2=2 does not represent absolute truth.

Don't get the wrong idea about what im saying, its not the end of the world that nothing can be known with absolute certainty, that's just one of the limitations of rationality and logic

You're thinking of the middle of the night, not 12AM. This means the halfway point between Isha and Fajr.

I personally follow the opinion that the Isa prayer is valid after the middle of the night, but that it's makrouh to delay it until after that point.

He's my inspiration. Such an amazing personality. He went from a drunkard who would torture women to one of the greatest rulers in history buried right next to the master of mankind SAW.

I challenge anyone to find a non-Muslim ruler that even comes close to his caliber.

"11 July 1995 - Srebrenicia's (Bosnia) 8,000+ dead, may Allah grant you all jannah. 24 years on, your tragedy still lives in the memory of the ummah.

It is important to remember that the last time genocide took place in Europe, Muslims were the victims - an important reminder at a time when anti-Muslim sentiment is at an alarming high. It should also serve as a reminder for those who believe that the answer for Muslims in the West is to "integrate" aka assimilate - the Bosnians of that time were fully integrated with the Serbs but that did not stop their neighbours (and I mean literally their neighbours) and "friends" from turning on them.

For those of you who are not too familiar with what took place and how western governments stood by and allowed it all to take place, have a read of this article:

Also read this article which focuses specifically inaction of the US and UK, also read this:

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...-massacre-1995

Since Bosnia, we have heard the reminders with empty words and slogans that Bosnia will "never happen again" but unfortunately, when it comes to Muslims, it has happened and continues to happen - just ask the Iraqi Muslims or the Syrian Muslims or the Burmese Muslims or the Central African Republican Muslims or the Palestinian Muslims and many others."
