Ousen tried to add Mouten into his pokemon collection

Gakuei didn't even know the Legends of his own state's men. Can we expect a Tou of Zhao?

    Gakuei hypetool for Akou

Contrary to Kanjou's comment, Akou seems to believe in the strength of Gyoku Hou and think they will be needed in an important clash?
Honestly confused with Kanjou's remark of not having any expectation

So much hype in this chapter. Can't wait to see Akou and one of vassals from previous GH general in action against each other.Gakuei is such an idiot for not knowing about top boys from his own country

I wonder who will be the most successful of the top 3 Qin young guns in this war?

Akou is hyped as the strongest warrior while Makou is the best offensive general. Based on portrayal, should be close to Zenou

Straightforward Akou and the quick-witted Ouhon. It's a nice pair honestly. The plan does use both of their strength effectively with Gyoku Hou as a very mobile independent unit

Also, the ironic "who the fuck are you" from Gakuei while they're should be the one who said it lol

I hope Akou delivers and is at least on a level where can give Ranbi-chan a fight.
As for Ouhon, I'm glad someone put him in his place already.

    mouten and gakuei were

ouhon is just the usual brat, so very little deserving of mouten's praise. For some reason, the akou and the former 3GH retinue hype weren't as overwhelming as they wanted to be, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Nobody wants kingdom to turn into an inconsistent powercreep. The actual issue is that Ouhon and the other newgens have already fought much more fearsome enemies and came out victorious. This is something that's gonna be hard to handle in this battle.

holy foly, Akou is the number one general of Ousen. How is it comparable to tribe chief zenou by all means?

Because he's the number one general of Kanki? I seriously don't understand your refusal of Zenou's strength.

    same
Zenou is the best fighter in Kanki army. I'm talking strictly on power of the general himself

    he's what

he's the strongest musclehead in his army, that's all. He's not a general and much less the number one of his retinues.

Ouhon is as bullheaded as Shin is when it comes to compiling merits. Ouhon would probably choose a risky strategy that rely on him pulling through by the skin of his teeth to kill the enemy commander versus one where he helps set up a cleaner victory.

Ousen probably prefers a reliable subordinates that can take the overall picture into consideration and act accordingly. Mouten is a guy that never loses sight of the bigger picture. In Sanyou, he was willing to do the dirty work so that Shin and Ouhon could get a chance at Rinko and never thought of it as the lesser task.

Ousen and Akou probably think highly of the Gyoku Hou unit's power but not Ouhon's ability to make decisions that meaningfully impact the entire battlefield.

ousen is too smart to misjudge ouhon's actual impact on the battlefield and he can't afford misusing him.

most likely this is just ouhon's dad complex speaking. I trust ousen to make the best of his son just like he'd do with anyone else.

    That actually makes sense....

Didn't know Ousen swung that way

As SunWu said, Ouhon would probably try to make risky big plays by himself like he did in FD arc. Mouten and Akou are much more reliable and can probably carry out Ousen's orders without emotions hampering their judgement.

And who, exactly, is supposed to be ahead of him? He's been tasked with every important task and when sent in early had remarks like "why is Zenou already out?". He's Kanki's go-to when shit hits the fan.

Apart from his strength which I'd give a 94 easily, he's displayed eye for strategy, like when he and Raido bounced back and burnt the hill.
