Is Rainbow basically like Hajime no Ippo in a prison, or something different?
No, it's not about the boxing. 2 characters are interested in boxing, but it's not about that. Rainbow is about the prison for underaged people. They need to struggle with some big problems - evil guards etc, that basically need to ''survive'' till the day of the release. It's really good, beautiful relationship between the boys from the same cell.

    Moribito Guardian of the Spirit

    Fight scenes from Moribito:

I also recommend Major. It doesn't have martial arts, but there is a lot of action. It's the best baseball anime I've ever seen, and I know a thing or two about sports manga/anime because it's my go to genre.

    Watch Order:

    Major S1
    Gekijouban Major
    Major S2
    Major S3
    Major S4
    Major S5
    Major S6
    Major: World Series

If fights with weapons are ok too:
    • Berserk(just the 90s series, and maybe the movies)
    • Claymore(but you should continue with the manga, instead of watching the anime ending)
    • Fate(the rest )
    • Blood+(simply a good and entertaining series)
    • Guardian of the Spirit/Seirei no Moribito(the fights are rare but absolutely amazing)
    • Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash(pretty cool concept)
    • Hajime no Ippo(great series about boxing)
