IV. Staff Guidelines
This post is meant to outline the guidelines that the staff needs to operate by, so as to minimize mistakes on our part and to be as efficient as possible. If any of us have any doubt as to how we should handle things, we should first look here to see if we can find the answers that we seek.
As members of the staff, we are meant to set an example to the rest of the forum. It is, therefore, of extreme important that we act as ideally as possible. We should always be kind to members and refrain from flaming them. If we are debating with a member, we are required to do so calmly and fairly. Not adhering to this makes the staff, and therefore TMF itself, look bad. If one of us acts in a way unbecoming of a staff member, it is the job of the other members of the staff to remind them to act properly. Furthermore, since we have more responsibility than the normal member if we ever break any rules we will be punished more severely than a normal member would. A mod would be punished more than a normal member, a super mod more than a mod and an admin more than a super mod.
