Without the Wachowskis I don't want to see this movie happen.

The amount of internet memes this will create and the reviving of the pills theory already makes me hate this

Yeah, this seems like a not so good idea.

Given their recent affaire, do you really want them to be on this?

    The sex change? Jupiter Acsending?

They made Sense8, and it's going good so far. Who better than the creators of it all to continue making a cool story?

    They also made Matrix 3.

Tell me why you didn't like it?

I thought it was the weakest one, but why all the hate?

I think it choked itself on its own mythology and tried to be something more than it was.

I don't know. If it ever choked itself it would the ending of the first movie. If you never watched the animatrix I would recommend it. It really helps with understanding the machines and the matrix.

I actually did watch the Animatrix and it wasn't bad lol. To understand the kid's entire importance in the third film you had to read a novel and such.

The problem for me is when it's a movie like that? You shouldn't have to go out and view the side materials to grasp or better understand what's going on in that film and help it make sense. At least I've never felt like I should be doing the movie's job for it. Others may feel differently. But I've never felt like I owe a film company extra dollars somewhere else to complete their visual story for them.

I completely agree. Which is why I think the third movie was the weakest one. We don't owe em shit.

I just loved the humanization of the machines and programs, and the side material which I looked at afterwards. Helped me like the whole trilogy much more.

It will forever be my favourite movie trilogy.

Might fail, might actually be decent. I have a feeling it will fail though.

Haven't watched Matrix in years but i remember the first movie being good, the second movie being okay and the third one being pretty terrible.

But they're not very good. in fact I'd say one-hit wonders. really all matrix is was a neat concept, that wasn't done properly. and now that both of the wachowskis are mentally unhealthy it's best to keep them far away.

George Lucas came back too. it doesn't always work.

You'd need the entire creative team from back then to justify it being done by the same staff.

    Thanks to Myst~

    Are you serious?

V for Vendetta, Cloud Atlas and Ninja Assassin. Now they are making the second season of Sense8. If you didn't like Matrix that's fine, but One-hit wonders?

But it has worked. They have made some bad choices, but they continue to create shit people want to see.
