Fight of the Year - 2016

what was the most exciting fight you saw this year?

I honestly can't choose, MMA in particular was ripe with good fights

    my favs

    in the UFC:

Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz (the first fight as well as the rematch)
    Conor McGregor vs Eddie Alvarez
    Tony Ferguson vs. Lando Vannata
    Robbie Lawler vs. Carlos Condit
Cub Swanson vs. Doo Ho Choi
Tony Ferguson vs Rafael Dos Anjos
Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs Claudia Gadelha II

    in BOXING:
    Vasyl Lomachenko vs Nicholas Walters

also, bonus category: Worst Beatdown Of The Year

I think we can safely give this one to Ronda Rousey

    Golovkin vs Rosado - Boxing

Golovkin had the flu going into this fight. Think MJ's flu game only 10x tougher because you don't have teammates and you're fighting.

I love scraps as much as the next guy, I love technical shutouts as much as the next guy, but the heart displayed here was just historical.

this dates back to a few years ago, did they have a rematch? I've been out of the loop for a while as far as boxing is concerned

I'm a casual watcher. I'll only tune in if the big names are fighting.

Fight of the year: Connor vs Diaz rematch
Worst beatdown: Ronda (Bitch couldn't even last more than 1 minute )

word, the bitch got wrecked faster and worst than her last fight

all that time off and she didn't evolve one bit, it was as though she froze in time smh

the striking display by Conor in the Diaz rematch was terrific, towards the end Diaz started to gain the upperhand (the dude is such a tank lol) but it was great to see Conor overcome the adversity from their first bout

No they didn't, I just looked at the OP and posted whatever fight I had on my mind at the moment

    Sorry, I was being stupid

If you want to check out a recent fight to wash out the Rousey match out of your tongue I recommend you check out Inoue vs Kono. KO artist at the flyweight level.
