I'm actually decently hyped, I'm loving the 69th narrative. Hoping to learn what Jouichirou's perspective on cooking was, that ending was a bit creepy.
^Yep and he won't look be looking back. He's about to reclaim his role as Soma's true rival.
After Jouchirou's training, Kurokiba and the others are going to be left even further in the dust.
Scrubs like Takumi and Megumi are going to surpass Kurokiba and Alice
I know, and somehow bs friendships way they'll beat elite 10 members. Which are far out of their ballpark, and even if the add megashi, isshiki, kuga and mimisaki they are still no match from 1seat-6seat.
“We fear discovering that we are more than we think we are. More than our parents, children, or teachers think we are. We fear that we actually possess the talent that our still, small voice tells us. That we actually have the guts, the perseverance, the capacity. We fear that we truly can steer our ship, plant our flag, reach our Promised Land. We fear this because, if it’s true, then we become estranged from all we know. We pass through a membrane. We become monsters and monstrous.”

i liked the chapter, but i am really disappointed that erina and fucking megumi will receive a boost in their skills. alice and ryō would have been so much cooler
i did not expect gin to have that terrible of a record. jōichirō's backstory was set up nicely in this chapter, but i always thought of gin and him being neck and neck.
so joichiro left because he was too good for totsuki, so he decided to pursue his own brand of cooking. Was he right? was he wrong? This regiment cuisine will decide it all!
And like that the most interesting characters of the show get shafted.
Remember Alices 'I won't let you do as you please' speech?
Looking forward to the flashback.
And there's nothing stopping Saiba from training Alice and Ryo too.
It's baffling to know that Megumi will be better than Kurokiba. Megumi.
There are two types of opinions: wrong opinions and my opinions.
