Anyways, wasn't as bad as the spoilers made me think it was. Although it was cheesy and cliched as fuck, underneath the sugarcoating of friendship and whatever was what really separated the men from the boys: drive. All that hype for Hayama and yet he didn't take the time to experiment and push his limits as obsessively as Souma proved to be the difference. I liked that last page where he said Hayama didn't even take it seriously as he thought he had it in the bag.
Well, it doesn't excuse the dragging but mitigates it a little for me.
