Luffy right now.
Luffy right now.
"Cersei is as gentle as King Maegor, as selfless as Aegon the Unworthy, as wise as Mad Aerys. She never forgets a slight, real or imagined. She takes caution for cowardice and dissent for defiance. And she is greedy. Greedy for power, for honor, for love."
Luffy is going to show his superhuman level of endurance right now, fighting for days.
Is that some actual tension in post-skip One Piece? Great chapter all around. I'm really curious as to how Luffy's going to get out of this one, as this looks to be the roughest situation that he's ever gotten himself into.
Sanji must be pulling some Mr. Prince shit here, as he has to know that Luffy would never accept him sacrificing himself for his sake.
People have mentioned Jinbei but he's really not doing much in this scenario as well because Luffy will be hellbent on leaving the spot so they would have to fight and I just don't see Luffy and Jinbei clearing out the enraged army
Pudding can possibly bring a lot to the table....but Oda's track record would be to reduce her to A) crying, B) running, C) standing, and D) being generally useless once a man comes on the scene (whatever happened to Violet actually doing stuff? She was a powerful fighter with some interesting abilities. Oh well).
I would personally prefer Pudding to be an ally, either that or she actually joins the SH crew by the end of this arc. They need some new members on their crew for the NW journey.
This was a great chapter, too bad it was short.
Bobbins being Randolph level was just....
I'm not sure how people can say Pudding is evil at this point, although dayum could be onto something with the psycho little girl foreshadowing that Pudding is in fact an evil psychopath. The tension is really high right now and I can't predict how anything is going to turn out.
Luffy is going to lose here unless he pulls out King Kong Gatling or something. Jinbei will probably break him out once he gets captured, I can't wait for the wedding to see how it turns out.
Back at Enies Lobby, probably.
"It's hard to beat a person who never gives up."
I'm pretty sure it was resent.Back in July.

Yeah 832 through 836
After rereading the chapter I'm convinced Pudding is actually evil.
If you look closely the moment Pudding and Sanji hugged there was a huge clap of lightning and thunder outside their window, this is classic foreshadowing that there's some evil emanating from the whole situation.
Puddings dialogue also felt very weird, she seemed insistent to marry Sanji even though previously she had just accepted that Sanji would value his friends over their marriage, adding to all that is the fact that her siblings are straight Psychopaths, and Big Mom herself seems to condone and even promote that behaviour.
And lastly, why the fuck is her third eye covered? What's the point in covering it? Disney actually has a common trope where seemingly innocent girls are disguised as vile witches that manipulate their victims through mind control or other methods.
It's not confirmed Pudding is 3-eyes.
Could possibly be sisters like Lola and Capone's wife.
Not exactly level but seems Bobbin is only a Minister not a Sweet Commander.
As for the "obsession" with Bobbins being strong. No obsession, what people want is lots of relevant screen time for interesting characters. That is typically reserved for strong characters. Being weak means his unique design goes to waste like Diamante&Trebol.....especially Trebol.
A weak bad guy can't share the stage with big name protagonists and supporting cast. When Oda forces weaklings into the spotlight that is where we get Rebecca, Dwarves, King Riku, and the Giant Children.
I think Big Mom pulls a Buster Call everytime a Swet Commander gets taken out, so basically she sends out another Sweet Commander plus a small army (ie when Urouge beat the 4th Sweet Commander and Cracker took care of him). That makes me believe Bobbin is actually a Sweet Commander and Oda just didn't have the chance to introduce him properly this chapter, or it could just be wishful thinking
I'm really hoping Pudding and Three-eyes are separate characters. The fact that they wear different clothes and keep their jellies on different shoulders is a good sign.
Plus, Big Mom seems to have many twins, triplets, quadruplets and so on.
Hell, in this chapter alone we saw Tweedle Dee/Tweedle Dum esque twins and found out that Opera has three identical twins.
I fear Lola's card will be used to take over Stormy and Sunny . Such strange ridiculous plot device.
welp, it looks like Bobbin isn't one of the top dogs. Not that im overly bothered, as I never liked his goofy design, but on page 18, it looks like hes either preparing to deliver a sword slash at luffy and/or hes swerved his body to avoid jet gatling. This will be an interesting fight
