So, Qin-Yan alliance is as good as done. Some background on Rishi.
All in all fine and while prep can't hurt, maybe Qin should take one state down before fantasizing about all that is to come. I mean if Rishi had said that Sei's dream was impossible it's not as if Sei would have called Riboku and told him they go his way.
Shoubunkun lost that dignity he used to have. I can't feel that from him anymore.
It doesn't hurt to become prepared though. It'll suck more if they do unite China and there's still not a legal system ready.
The chapter is better than I thought it would be. The late Saitaku thought of his old buddy Rishi and used Shoubunkun to release him from prison the old fox . Even though Rishi is useful, can he really be trusted? He seemed the most eager out of the four pillars to topple Sei. His interraction with the king will be awkward and funny
Thanks for the fast release @Xyros;!
Qin allying with Yan is interesting. Perhaps Yan will attack Zhao whilst Qin attack Han/Wei? Not sure why anyone would ally with Qin at this point though.
Rishi and Legalism, fucking called it
I like how he bought up the Confucianists though, I'd like this to be a thing and another layer of conflict in the future and not just a name drop. Also, is it just me or did SBK lose some of his mustache this chapter?
Naturally since Qin has renewed aggression with Zhao, they'd want Zhao's other long time enemy on their side. Also since Qin is a monster right now, you don't want to make an enemy out of them even if Zhao and Wei are between you and them, you gotta take what you get
SBK should see a doctor, sweating that much ain't normal.
I bet SBK is dying. Neither climate nor Rishi's presence can explain this much sweating. Btw. what exactly does SBK do? Chancellor SHK devices all the plans/military affairs and SBK...
Yet I can't help that SBK's answer was more on spot than Rishi's, but hey, Rishi is the "monstrosity of law".
Rishi's working diligently in a dark prison while I can't even study properly in my own room.
