    Those offset controls are perturbing.

  6. #46
this shits looks awkward as hell if you have big hands

i don't, but i have already heard the woes of those who do with the old 3DS. the controller itself seems okay, the wii U mode i won't judge yet because the wii U controller/secondary screen wasn't uncomfortable actually

    That doesn't look very natural.

just the right amount of eccentricity

i really liked that presentation of the controller even though it seems very uncomfortable

For sure. I can finally play Mario Kart 8 in my home.

The new Splatoon and Mario games look so good Sucks that neither are launch games, but I'll probably get the system then anyway for Zelda.

    Man, that Sonic game.

And remember guys, we're not going to have to buy the right JoyCon separately from the system. It comes with the system!

    So generous!

everything shown was nice, still iffy on the wii mote-ish use of the switch controller (joycon or w/e they were called).
zelda as a launch title is a step into the right direction. arms looked very fun, and i don't think that any game that we were shown explicitly is going to disappoint

what matters now is a steady influx of truly good games, and especially a lot of them close to the release. the switch needs even more console sellers imho, if they take it easy now just because breath of the wild is coming out with it, i can see it having the same problem as the wii u - not enough hyped launch titles, low amount of consoles get sold as a result of it and devs don't want to make games for the platform anymore because it's not worth the effort -> wii U gets even less games.

    Hyped, Presentation could've been better.

Few more game announcements and few more games at launch would've been nice, also professional translators who don't fail under pressure. More excitement and some good trailers for specific games as well.

But it's all good, ZELDA FOR LAUNCH!!!!

I forgot all about that presenter.

    He was fucking classic.

Maybe even my favorite oddity of the whole damn presentation.

the translator was definitely either completely dropping his marbles at some point or he was legitimately on a substance. i feel bad for the dude, but surely he could have opted out before the trainwreck happened? the first translator did his job excellently after all, and it didn't seem like he was under any pressure

Seriously, like I said in the CB.

I think Nintendo found out they needed a translator fifteen minutes before the presentation and just went outside and started yelling for anybody who could translate Japanese to English. Then they just hired the first guy who said they could.

I'm actually sort of upset that the guy for Splatoon 2 didn't finish it with, "Stay Fresh!"

Suda went off script so the translator lost his marbles.

And eff yall people who keep laughing at the HD rumble. If you can be hyped up by Idolmaster and Hatsune Miku waving your glowsticks VR games then you can be hyped by a better version of waggle controls.

FFS I'm not buying the ARMS game, but I do know that they can now make a One Piece game with Luffy as your controlled character with that technology.

Disappointed at the paid online and no Pokemon but at least they got that hot Xenoblade, Zelda, and Mario.
