I should've said 31 going on 7 in maturity, and 31 going on 85 in mentality and spirit.

There are two related boxes: DC's Legion of Collectors and Star Wars' Smugglers Bounty. I actually got a free Smugglers Bounty for Christmas, but my gf tore that box up before I could get pics.

Those looks pretty damn good, unlike that Loot Crate bullshit

    X-Men Box

    X-Men

Here's the box with Wolverine's ugly mug plastered all over it.

Inside the box with a lot more of Wolverine's ugly mug plastered all over it. Notable is Wolverine doing his best Nick Fury, but he'll never be as badass. NEVER.

Some more of the inside here. Poor picture on my part.

The obligatory iron on patch featuring the Mistress of the Weather herself, and a pin with the Master of Magnetism's helmet. In an odd turn, I don't really care for this pin. It just lacks that distinctive look to really stand out for me.

Here's the comic. The only issue of the Champions to not feature the character on the cover or ANY mutant in the book. Why they didn't pick an X-Men book I'll never understand.

Here's the shirt I got. It's okay, but it sort of looks like something you'd pick up at a novelty gimmick store in the mall. I have no clue what my expectations were and I'm sure they're wildly unfounded in what I think I should get. Maybe I'm spoiled by the Spidey hat.

Say hello to the "Secondary Figure" part of the box, Funko's side brand Rock Candy's release of, "Mystique." I really hate that, "Exclusive" tag, a lot.

Here she is out of the box in all her Rock Candy glory. I'm actually pretty sure these are aimed at female collectors, given their similar look to that Disney line of what I think are called Descendants. At least that's what it looks like to me.

I actually really like the detail Funko puts into the backsides of their figures. It sounds really weird, but it really gives a good display quality when they do.

The "Main Feature Pop," and if you thought it wasn't going to be Wolverine, you had to be me who was hoping that Marvel and Funko would try and use a less popular mutant. And like me? You'd be wrong.

Side shot of the box there.

It was surprisingly easy to keep standing. You'd think it would be hard, but those little kickstands do the job.

The figure is really TWO figures. A motorcycle and a free standing older Wolverine. Also surprisingly simple is how easy it is to make Wolvie ride the motorcycle. Probably one of the more stable Pops in the whole line as far as I know.

A nice little sideview showing the age of the Wolverine in question. I really enjoyed it. That's the sort of thing that make Pops fun for me. I keep trying to type them as "PoPs" and not "Pops."

So I done screwed up and either forgot to take a picture of the entirety of the box or I lost it. Sorry guys.

Except for the inclusion of the different figure, this box was only okay. The "Secondary Figure" was good. Great even. My biggest complaint was it could've done more to highlight some of the X-Men. This box should've been called something very different.

I found with LC, who has their own Marvel section now, is that their stuff tends to be a bit more random and crappier in novelty. I have a friend who gets it and it convinced me not to get it.

I was a little upset, but it was hers and I'm not a huge Star Wars fan so I can't complain. lol

You ever thought about investing in Kotobukiya's ARTFX figs?

    You've no clue.

I look at their site pretty often and salivate at what they got. Like they had a Binary one which is already sold out I wanted. That Agent Venom, too. TDK, Red Hood, Thanos, Bizarro, several Thors, Grodd, the Spider-Man ones, and the Vision. All ones I've felt blue over never splurging for.

But Pops are only 12 bucks. Some of the ones Koto's got that I want can be 10 or 20 times that.

    Though I do have one.

Though straight up? Their bishoujo line is pretty cringy for the most part.

I can't imagine why she has more out than the rest in Japan.

How much is shipping from Japan?

And those Bishoujo ones are just too much. I could only imagine setting one up at my home.

"Whew, new bishoujo X-23/Black Widow/Mystique just arrived."

    *Opens box. Mak's girlfriend frowns.*

"You know you're over 30, right? I'm not letting you display that since we have friends and family who come here."

You'll have to ask them about the box size but it looks like if you buy them one at a time, shipping shouldn't be over 15-17 bucks if you chose the cheapest options. I haven't bought any of these myself so I'm just estimating.

You just had to choose the more suggestive ones lol, but why is it that buff men are allowed in your house but not Mak approved stuff?

Because those buff men aren't posed with sculpted bulging dicks thrusting at the observer with come hither grins and hands behind their heads.

But really most of the bishoujo are sort of that way. The only one I'd say it actually fits is She-Hulk. lol

I might have to check that out.

Yeah, some of the Bishoujo line are pretty good. Her (if still a bit off) and Binary are good examples of the line done well and non-creepy as fuck.

And they'd probably think it's just me having some weird figure. Till I tell them I love roaches.

    Actually, that's pretty damn nice.

I think the hard one to explain will be:

But yeah, some of the faces, bodies, and positions of the bishoujo line seem more like I'm buying one of those anime bikini 15 year old girl figures and less a superhero figure.
