I literally don't know jack about this. After all the hype of Pacquiao and Mayweather, both these niggas have retired and the match wasn't all that either so even though I'm curious about boxing, the sport itself doesn't seem exciting.

My mum says the quality of boxing's really dropped since the Michael Watson incident though. Who are the quality boxers nowadays?

Yep. A dedicated "competition" gym has high rates.

I really mark it at the end of Evander Holyfield's career.

That Pac/Mayweather fight happened ten years too late, and even then we all knew it was going to suck since Mayweather fights on a sportsman style, happy to win by points and not getting into the rampage.

    Oh shit.

The Olympics are going to allow paid professional boxers to compete.

RIP up and comers and those who've been training and almost had a place.

The heavyweights can be pretty boring.

The welterweight is where the action is for me.

The Man of Steel has nothing on Muhammad Ali.

I know he's with the Creator now but man I still can't get over this.

    That Vargas/Salido fight.

    - - - Updated - - -

    That last round was dynamite.

    - - - Updated - - -

Man these are one of those satisfying draws.

    - - - Updated - - -

    709 landed punches. Jesus Christ.

That Vargas with his basement/attic technique.

    - - - Updated - - -

    Also. Salido a scoundrel.

    - - - Updated - - -

Fight of the year right there most likely.

Lomachenko is asking Martinez, "You want a left jab to the face? How about like fifty a round?"

    GET YOUR GUARD UP, MARTINEZ!!

    - - - Updated - - -

Holy shit! Martinez ate a few more left jabs, then Lomanchenko just railed him with a right hook. Ended that fight with a stoppage on the count of five. Guy was clearly out before he hit the damn mat.

    Lomanchenko doesn't even look winded.

I freaking wish I were. I'll be picking up my girlfriend around the start of the fight, and by then the bars are gonna be packed.

Have you seen any of the previous fights?

Eubank strutted his way to victory.

    Argh, no.

Doran never stood a chance. All his big talk about testing Eubank's chin and stuff was fluff. Doran never had the firepower and Eubank's chin has been tested by better. On the other hand, Doran's been hurt by better and Eubank's skill is in a whole other league. There was no freaking way Doran was walking out of the match without pain, much less the victor.
