    Beastly Bajio vs the following.

How does the right hand man of the Mountain King/Queen Yotanwa fare against the following?

His stats are nearly identical to Shin's with Shin having slightly more leadership.
    Strength 91+α
    Leadership 80
    Knowledge 74

Scenario A: Starts off in berserker mode.
Scenario B: Goes into berserker mode only when he is in trouble.

    1) Rinko mounted
    2) Shin mounted
    3) Ranhibaku mounted
    4) Ouhon mounted
    5) Rinbukun mounted
    6) Enraged Kouyoku mounted (he killed Rinbukun)
    7) 2 Futeis fight on foot.
    8) Gaimou mounted (he obviously loses but what diff?)

I think he can beat 1-7 in scenario A .

Scenario B is tricky, because he might have more durability but he might get shotted before he goes beast form. I'll just consider scenario A for simplicity:

    1) Bajio high diff.
    2) Bajio high diff.
    3) Bajio high high diff.
    4) Bajio high diff.
    5) Bajio high high diff.
    6) I can see Kouyoku taking this extreme diff.
    7) Futeis mid diff.
    8) Gaimou high diff.

huh, I never saw this thread?

    1) Rinko mounted: wins A mid diff-ish, wins B high diff-ish
    2) Shin mounted: about the same as Rinko though B could lose
    3) Ranhibaku mounted: wins high diff-ish A, could lose B
    4) Ouhon mounted: about the same as Ranbi but Bajio has an easier time
    5) Rinbukun mounted: about the same as Ouhon
    6) Enraged Kouyoku mounted (he killed Rinbukun): about the same as Ouhon
    7) 2 Futeis fight on foot: rapes both both
    8) Gaimou mounted (he obviously loses but what diff?): could win A but loses B mid diff-ish?

    1) Rinko mounted - win high diff
    2) Shin mounted - win mid-low diff
    3) Ranhibaku mounted - win
    4) Ouhon mounted - win mid-high diff
    5) Rinbukun mounted - win high diff
    6) Enraged Kouyoku mounted (he killed Rinbukun) - extreme diff. can go either way
    7) 2 Futeis fight on foot. - win low diff
    8) Gaimou mounted (he obviously loses but what diff?) - lose mid/high diff

How can you give a higher diff to Rinko than Shin? He was stronger than him like 4 arcs ago.

  6. #6
didn't Shin do it with extreme diff after help from Ouhon?

  7. #7
They fought Rinko twice, the first was 2v1 at start, but Shin took his fingers off when it turned into a 1v1. But, true enough, it was extreme even in their second clash. That being said, current Shin would low-mid diff himself from that arc. He's fought Mangoku, Gaimou and Keisha since, to name a few.

he wouldn't even managed to cut Rinko's finger if it's not because the 2 vs 1.

and arguably he wouldn't even managed to extreme diff Rinko if it's not because of Sosui

Mangoku and Keisha aren't even Rinko level martially, vs Gaimou he got trashed around.

and In Kokuyou current Shin got smacked around by lolBatei which isn't even Rinko level

Not really, since Ouhon had already left at that point. The second part is true, but that's only because they tried to kill Shin. You play dirty, you get dirty.

That doesn't really matter, especially when Batei has only raw strength going for him, while Rinko has incredible technique and speed. Not only that, Shin blocked a surprise attack from Batei and then another while he was busy assessing the situation and saving his unit. Had it been a normal duel, Batei wouldn't last 3 exchanges.

And you need to get real if you are telling me the Shin that fought against Rinko is as strong as the current one.

he lost his finger which wouldn't happen if Ouhon didn't help Shin.

not sure what you mean. it still doesn't change the fact that Shin killing Rinko only because of coincidence

the situation is a result of his incompetency as a leader of 5k men unit. But it still doesn't change the fact that Shin got trashed around by Batei which had nothing than raw strength. Someone that is actually very similar to himself

And you need to get readl if you are telling me the Shin that fought against Rinko is as strong as the current one
I never imply that, but your argument is like:
Current Bajio = Current Shin >>>>>>>> Shin Sanyou arc > Rinko

Current Shin isn't really that much stronger than Sanyou Shin.

and arguably Current Shin will still struggle high diff to fight Rinko 1 vs 1 because he can't even get a decent performace recently

Once a fight is extreme diff, it doesn't really matter who won. It means that both fighters are within like 5% of each other, a marginal difference.

Him being incompetent as a leader has nothing to do with fighting power. But the ambush has everything to do with it, how many times do we have to go over this. The surprise factor carries a big weight in Kingdom, whether you like it or not. He wasn't even fighting Batei, he was just looking around in panic and trying to solve the shit they got themselves in. In a duel Batei would get mid-high diffed by Shin.

There's not much to be said for the last part if you think the MC doesn't grow substantially during 4 arcs. People are arguing that Luffy can high diff his Dressrosa self, yet you think Shin, who's had time-skips and a LOT of fighting, didn't have considerable growth.

  12. #12
unlike other Shounen, Shin's time skip is mainly to skip his rank to 5k man commander

And really, I thought people agree that Shin stopped growing fast in Coalition arc.. I guess it's only me who think like that eh....

  13. #13
All he ever does is fight or train. His other activities are sleep, eating and manual labor. Even the 1 year skip before the assault on Zhao was used for nothing but training. There's no way he doesn't grow.

  14. #14
Ouhon progression rates is far better than Shin, he able to killed 96 str GG with only 93 str solo and Shin struggle against Gaimou with alpha on top of that.

Y- you do know Gaimou is stronger than Earl Shi, right?

"It's hard to beat a person who never gives up."

  16. #16
they're pitted with someone which are similar to themself.

Shin will die really fast vs Earl Shi while Ouhon will also get wrecked fast vs Gaimou.

but Ouhon managed to find an opening to kill Earl Shi shows how much growth he had vs Shin which only managed to force Gaimou into a stalemate (Shin's actually losing tbf to Gaimou)

and his (and HSU) performance in Kokuyou kinda gives impression that Shin isn't really growing that much... wtf is Ten even thinking on the first day to take back that fake hill fortification...

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ouhon beat him because he had better technique. Gaimou on the other hand noticed how Shin was new to the glaive.
