Damn bioshock infinite? Even after all the content they cut?
The game was solid what content we got was fine on it's own IMO. The problem with it was the downgraded combat. It wasn't any better than your average fps game. There used to be some strategy in your approach, with infinite it was bang bang with one hand and boom with the other.

The atmosphere, scenery and the story?

I just found the Great Fairy Fountain and made it back to Impa for the second time.

Yeah, I'm taking my sweet time.

story and that other stuff is cool and all but gameplay is what makes the game

Like I understand people really care for story and things like that but its really not even close to as important as gameplay imo

Kinda why I dont like the Witcher 3 as much as other people because the combat in that game is horseshit

Which is why it's not a 10 for me, and never will be. Of course gameplay is number 1. No game with with shitty gameplay can be called a good game. I don't think W3's combat is horseshit. I woulden't call it the best either, but at least you have choices in how you approach/react your enemies.

Saw Dunkey's video on this game. It's absurd how many situations you can do with the combat and if the hearts are any indication, you can still fuck up late game.

I'm going to see how far this stands up to the previous Zeldas. I played WW, Minish Cap, Ocarina, Majora, and Skyward Sword. SS had the best story out of all of them then Majora's mask. Though I know in gameplay this game kills every Zelda before it so I'm excited.

Yeah, the game that I basically hold as narrative benchmark for a amazing story, setting and characters.

You should play Xenoblade Chronicles. It's available on Dolphin, 3DS, and Wii U. I personally think it's 2010's Chrono Trigger, without the multiple endings.

You can kill ganon the instant you leave the plateau and neither is it hard.

Game is beatable under 1hour without exploits.

Can you continue to explore after the ending or do you have to restart?

I was rooting around the area I knew Ganon was in, but needed memories two of which are in Hyrule Castle proper. Since I wasn't paying attention (and was largely lost), I accidentally ran into the throne room. Since I was there, I decided I wanted to try and make a go of it.

Like Y said, Ganon really isn't that hard if you have the game mechanics down.

Yeah. People were beating this game in an hour within a week I think.

No. The game throws an autosave right before the big bad.

    That's good enough I guess.

I take it you just went to the autosave and walked away from the guy you just beat lol

Yeah. I figured it was an "after the game" save file because it had a star next to it. But it was just right before Ganon, so I teleported the hell out of there.

I'd actually love to see the reconstruction efforts after Ganon like Zelda games always hint to in their end credits, but that might be pushing the limits of what the game wanted to be and the story it could tell so I understand. Could you imagine any other threat after Ganon in a Zelda game? Maybe if they unloaded some DLC or something and you had to fight Vaati who was waiting for Ganon to fall.

Which, looking at news for Zelda, may be happening in winter of this year. Probably not though. Just a new dungeon and storyline, but that can be anything.

I only struggled because I didn't think I was really going to win as I was and for some reason I thought the best way to answer Ganon's attacks was to just stand in place.

Though to be fair, one of Ganon's attacks reminded me of an older Ganon fight. With that in mind, and forgetting that this entire game has upended convention, I thought we were meant to play tennis. Turns out you're not supposed to do that.
