Don't know this game, will try to look into this soon, but no promises.
The mechanics look interesting, but I'm not getting head or tail of it. These flash-style RPGs are actually quite involving.
Keep this up!

Turns out some fanatics translated the story and even put it in visual novel format.
Meaning: I can keep you guys up to date with twists and the like, of course only if it's wanted.

I might give it a roll even, so I get a grasp of them mechanics![]()
First thing I'll do is read the story up the point I am right now and give you guys a tl;dr with important plot points as screenshots.
Then I'll do my usual thing and just tell the story along with reactions impressions and events from there.
Sound good?
I played many japanese games before. They were a big pain in the ass to understand. Good luck with this.
There are massive guides because the fanbase is insanely huge, I understand most of the mechanics prompts and attacks by now actually. Even the story as I can read it in parallel. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
So yeah. Im good.
So it's a strategic game?
The gameplay does look nice.
I look forward to your updates.
OH MY GOD.
I just got my muh nigga Zero Berserker as gold servant, what are the odds? (Gold servant are apparently rare as fuck from what I could gather from other people guides and the such, the way you earn new servants is to use those rainbow gems I showed you in my first post)
This is a good point to explain the battle system to you folks a bit more. As you can see a servant has attack, HP and a cost.
The first two are self explanatory, cost however affects A: How much you drop in the battle you use the card and B: You have a limit for maximum cost.
Luckily this guy is still within my range after I spent all my points to increase my cost limit.
Each servant has a class, and much like pokemon, they are effective or ineffective against one another, I gave you guys the visual explanation above.
Now as for the three attributes of attacks:
- Quick (green) – more likely to score critical gems, which give you a chance of critting in the next turn. Often multiple strikes (though it depends on the class), lowest amount of damage.
- Arts (blue) – increases the NP gauge by a few percentage points (depends on the damage you deal). Hitting 100% (or more, depending on the progress of your Servant) allows Servants to engage their Noble Phantasms. Often multiple strikes (same as above), medium damage.
- Buster (red) – highest attack power. One strike, highest damage.
Each servant has five cards. For example, Shielder has 1 Quick, 2 Arts, and 2 Buster, whereas Caster has 3 Arts and 1 of the others respectively.
During battle, you have access to 3 master skills
- First Aid (the green icon) – heals one unit for 1000 HP. Has a cooldown of 9 turns.
- Momentary Strength Boost (the red sword icon) – ups one unit’s attack for one turn. Has a cooldown of 15 turns.
- Emergency Evade (the cloaked unit icon) – gives one unit evasion for one turn (which basically means they won’t get hit by an attack at all, like Shielder’s full def skill). Has a cooldown of 15 turns.
You also have access to Command Seals. Using 1 seal heals one servant to full. If your party wiped out, using 3 heals it back to full. You have a max of 3 (obviously) and one seal replenishes every 24 hours.
Each servant also has 1 to 3 skills, I'd say that's likely dependant on level, each of those have conditions on when to use them and do other things. I'll explain those to you once I get a couple servants with different ones, aight?
The Noble Phantasms... yeah they're uber attacks as you saw earlier, the gauge fills itself during battle and some other factors I'll explain once I understand them myself.
*Story tl;dr with screenshots coming in the next part. From then on I'll proceed normally.
**In case some of you don't know yet, all these Servant are based upon real mythological figures, Berserker here for instance is Sir Lancelot after he fell into madness because of Guinerve.
