Some taken from my recent reads.

The sheriff from Preacher has to be the funniest bigot I've seen in comics. "Martian niggers", really?

    Seems legit.

Something from Darwyn Cooke. Look at that wonderfully cartoony windup transition into an explosive action sequence followed by a vicious looking Ted Grant. That last scene look at his face. It may be covered in shadow, but you can just see the raw animalistic rage, and those lights from the lighting above just frames it all perfectly.

It was just after Civil War and Thor's revival. He had found out Stark and Reed had cloned him and fought among each other, and now Asgard was hovering over Earth. Stark came to Thor and basically told him he and Asgard had to submit to Registration and US Authority.

    Thor didn't take it well.

When Stark asks how he'll get home after Thor absolutely fries his armor?

It was a spine tingling interaction between the two.

The movie only shares a name and the fact Tony and Steve oppose one another.

The whole exchange between Thor and Tony was pretty electrifying. No pun intended.

Well, I meant that I didn't want to read the comics and then have no motivation to watch the movie. But from what you're saying, the movie isn't that canon?

Shrakoom? That sounds like a hood name.

The comic won't spoil anything. And the penciling by Steve McNiven was great. It's just the longer you are a comic reader the weirder the read is. lol

Splinter basically takes out Batman's entire rouge gallery, while they are enhanced, on his own.

You enjoy that comic? I haven't read it yet, but they've been sitting in my pile.

Yeah, it's not the greatest but it's cool.
