Toriko needs an anime reboot from another studio to boost sales. Sales wise the series is declining gradually.

Asking for a reboot is being too optimistic. We all want one, especially one that's from a different studio but that's unlikely since I doubt Toei would hand off a successful anime series to another studio. I hope Toriko does get a special treatment for it's 10th anniversary, perhaps an OVA done by a different studio, which is more likely than a reboot done entirely from a different studio. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. If Toei decides to pick up Toriko after Dragon Ball Super, then it definitely needs an evening timeslot and narrations added.
Toriko is still in the top 30 for now (don't hope to see it at the top 30 for the half way or final mark though):

It can be replaced with World Trigger pretty much. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Oh yeah, that's a possibility. Toriko is last with the latest WSJ rankings. :lThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Sales updated. I'm hoping it'll reach a quarter million at the end of the month. I'll update the thread again when the end of the month sales arrive. Next volume is coming out on June 3rd, along side with HxH's new volume. That should be interesting lol.
Np, I do notice that not many people comment here but it's fine. If you want to know how Toriko is doing overall then here's the update top 30 list at this given point (Found on MAL):This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

So it's at the #26 spot with volumes 37 & 38.
Well it wasn't in the top 30 before right? so this would definitely be an improvement, despite that last ranking we had a week or 2 ago.
Well it's usually like this. Remember, this is the top 30 as of the 17th week. It could very well change as this is a early list (fan-made at that) and it will change by the half year & end of the year mark. Usually the cut off to make the top 30 at the end of the year is near 2M. That would mean the Toriko volumes have to sell around 400k per volume (assuming Shima releases 5 volumes a year) to make the top 30, which isn't happening. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. During the PAIR arc, at the end of the month of each Toriko volume it would make around 270-280k volume sales in a month and in the low 300k's at the end of the year. Now, it seems like it's near 250k a month. It's not an improvement from the previous volumes.
I see, that sucks. I still have to catch up in buying volumes myself, so hope I can do that in not too long. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Updates:
-End of the month sales for Vol. 38
-End of the year sales for Vols. 33-35, unfortuantely vol.36 couldn't make it since it was released in September and the end of the year was November. If you want the full list then check it out:
-End of the year sales for 2015 are updated. In 2014, Toriko ranked at the number 31 spot with a total sales of 1,877,287 copies but keep in mind for 2014 Toriko had it's anime running for the first quarter and released 5 volumes for the year. 2015 only had 4 volumes out.
Not sure if I messed up the tagging of some people but if I did please tag them again.![]()
Thanks for the update, rank number one here we come.

At least sales are better than last year.
So the half way mark is out and Toriko did not make the top 30 list by series but we got info on how many copies Toriko vol. 37 & 38 sold atm.
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...e-2016/.102637
306k copies for volume 37
269k copies for volume 38
Speaking of volume 38 it seems very poorly received on amazon japan. I can't make out the reviews but it got poor ratings and this was the volume that covered the ANOTHER flashback. Anyways if you want to see the reviews, check it out:

List updated.
Interesting. Hopefully they'll like volume 39.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
EDIT: I found out the reason. Too much exposition and description of everything (too much text) and the whole thing is fast and rushed while not having the fun toriko is known for.

First 3 days sales updated for the latest volume.
It dropped by 4k in sales compared to the previous volume's first 3 days. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I think there's potential for the numbers to start increasing again dependent upon how certain things play out within the next few chapters. I'm cautiously optimistic due to recent events, but optimistic nonetheless.
