    The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

I thought I had seen this thread earlier but I searched for it and nothing came up. Has anybody played this shit yet? How would you rate it based on your experience thus far?

You were made to be a TMF poster. You have the right temperament and can exchange insults with anyone. I know the majority of the site hates your entrails, but that just makes you more of a Temeffian to me.

same I don't have PS4 yet and my PC is subpar
though I watched some of it on twitch, and the combat looks so much fun, also the story and characters remind me of NieR for some reason.

And the music while good, it still sounds a bit overdramatic at times :P

I've had about 16 hours on the game so far and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. The overworld is massive and is saturated with Hidden Treasures, Bandit Camps, Monster Nests, and the Side Quests which retain the same voice actor and character animation quality as the Main Quests do. The input delay could have been refined more however, and I find the hud for magic spells to be somewhat clunky in how you navigate it using the joy sticks and would have preferred to simply use the D-pad to switch between different spells. The graphical fidelity is impressive, and the atmosphere is vibrant with color with some added detail due to: lighting effects, the fidelity of the water, and weather effects appearing spontaneously while traversing the outside terrain. Human enemies can be somewhat repetitive on their combat motions akin to something like Assassins Creed, but the A.I is utilized well and they will attempt to flank and attack you from multiple directions which adds a bit of variety and uniqueness to every encounter. The individual species designs for both natural and supernatural creatures is worthy of praise, and their combat mechanics have so far managed to make it an interesting confrontation whenever I have faced them for the majority of the time. These can range from Drowners who can attack both underwater or on dry land, Griffins which are self-explanatory, and Wraiths which are ethereal in nature and must be hit with specific move sets before they become tangible and vulnerable to physical strikes with a Blade. I'll play much more and give my personal overall score then.

Anyway I was considering getting this today but ended up picking Magicka 2 up, it's pretty fun on coop. Did you play Shadow of Mordor? I just wanna know how it stacks up against it.

I've never played Mordor, though I wouldn't mind getting my hands on it and trying it out. I have heard that it can become somewhat monotonous and repetitive in how the Overworld is structured as time goes on, which is in tandem with mechanics of the Nemesis System.

It's alright for an open world hack n slash, it did get repetitive but it was fun killing Uruks.

This game is a creation from the Almighty God himself. It is a really, really, really, really, really awesome game. It has its faults (hard crash about 3-4 times about 50+ hours in) and other silly glitches, but outside of that, the game is an epic.

I chose to play this over Arkham Knight (I was literally going to turn around and refund my money to get it) but I decided to go home, give it a solid hour, now I'm about 80+ hours in.

    Great fucking game.

Rating wise, I'd give it 9.5/10 the randomness of the glitching and Hard Crashing at times have caused me to outright turn my PS4 off and go smoke pot.

I got it for free along with Arkham Knight for purchasing the GTX 970.

In case you don't know. Arkham Knight on the PC has the worst port in the history of tripple A titles. Literally unplayable, was taken out of the steam market hours after it was released.
@Gaidou; which ending did you get?

    The Blood and Wine expansion...

this, this is how a DLC should be. Entirely new gigantic map, massive amount of new quests and items, multiple NPCs with voiceovers, three different endings, 14 hours+ main quest line alone, love to detail with every new quest and item you find and fantastic storytelling.

This could easily qualify as a game on it's own.
