This is a thread for the Table of Contents (TOC) of Weekly Young Jump (WYJ), the magazine that Kingdom is published in. Like Weekly Shonen Jump, the position of a manga in the TOC reflects the ranking of the manga from last week (i.e. first in TOC means readers from last week thought the chapter was the best etc.). We can discuss if the chapter deserved its ranking or not here. Unlike Weekly Shonen Jump, the editors don't leave notes saying Kingdom is on break next week or whatever (iirc) so the other purpose of this thread is to inform posters if we do/don't have a chapter for the week.

I decided to make this thread because Kingdom was on break this week but I didn't find out until today. You guys are welcome to post such info but make sure to cite the sources.

Usually at the top 2 (barring color pages and lead cover for other series, they don't count as part of the ranking). Kingdom is like the OP of this magazine and its main rival is Terra Formars.

And I derped again. This week won't have a chapter but we should be okay for the translated version, since the raw from last week is still untranslated by Turnip Farmers. I totally forgot I made the raws/Chinese version thread for 411 in the spoilers section .

Yes, but Terra Formars gives it great competition weekly and with the emergence of Tokyo Ghoul and its anime, even more so. I wish more Young Jump series were translated, so we could grasp the strength of the magazine. I only read Terra Formars, Umaru, Youkai Shoujo, and Usogui out of the other series.

I only casually read Terraformars, the political bits are so damn boring imo. When the action is focused on Mars is when it is at its best.

I agree on the action part but the political stuff is what gives the story depth, like Kingdom. But the author's execution of it does leave a bit to be desired.

If a series has a CP (color page) its position on the TOC is fixed, so Kingdom isn't really ranked this week.
