    [Genre]- Indie

    Post your favorite indie bands here~ and share opinions for them!

    I'll start by posting some MGMT and MS MR





    Mgmt, being my fav band, kinda shows the music i like. it's feel good. MS MR have songs similar to it, all around a good vibe. mhm....

    I loved Kings of Leon when they weren't mainstream



    But there are so so so so so so so so many good indie bands, i dont even know where to start D:

    I didn't know that Tokyo Police Club was well known outside of Canada . They actually came to my university a while back. Canada has a lot of great indie bands

    few of their genres are indietronica, indiepop, indierock

    well, popularity wise, i wouldn't say they're unpopular, but their music is not mainstreamish anymore.
    my opinion is that they were indie, tried mainstream pop, decided it's not worth it, went back to experimenting, and more closer to indie.

    it was indeed good, and different than congratulations.

    cool song no.2 (post #3) is from it.
    it had a lot of variations, and few songs needed a second take before i grasped their meanings. definitely escaped the mainstream.
