    Nanatsu no Taizai

How come there isn't a thread for this awesome manga?

Much better than the author's first work, Kongou Banchou. Does anyone else here reads it? Chapter 34 is out, in case someone does read it and hasn't noticed.

The titular "Seven Deadly Sins" were once an active group of knights in the kingdom of Britannia who were disbanded after they supposedly plotted to overthrow the kingdom. Their supposed defeat came at the hands of the Holy Knights, but rumors continued to persist that they were still alive. One decade in the future, the Holy Knights organized a coup d'état, committing regicide against their king, and became the new rulers of the domain. The third princess, Elizabeth, then started on a journey to find the "Seven Deadly Sins", believing them to be the only ones who could defeat the Holy Knights; after coming across Meliodas, and discovering him to be one of the Seven Deadly Sins, she joins him in his similar journey to find the rest.
    From wikipedia.

I should have made a thread.

Man, Ban is such a beast. I dig his beard look.

Cool, but not Kongou Banchou level yet.

It has potential for sure though.

It's past Kongou Banchou. Akira was the only driving force. Plot wasn't good at all

Two words, Akira Kongou. Until NnT does something better than him, its not better. And Hikyou, Takeshi, and Gokurou were all good characters too.

You are infatuated by Akira. Don't get me wrong I like Akira but one character isn't enough. NnT's cast is much better than anyone besides maybe Akira. The plot is much better too

How can you not love Akira? There's no maybes to it man. Akira would be a god tier character in NnT. He'd make everyone join his squad and shit.

My point still stands. Good plot + Good main character cast< Great main character+ not so good plot.

I'm not saying you're wrong, it potentially can be better, just not 30 odd chapters in.

Sorry to break it to you. It is currently better than Kongou Banchou was.

    Why not?

We're 30 chapters in and it's already far more interesting than KB. In KB the most interesting thing was Kongo's lineage. Here the plot is far more interesting.

I just don't enjoy it as much as Kongou Banchou.

Ah, you should've said it in the first place. But just because you enjoy one thing more than another, it doesn't make it better quality wise.

    Bumping the thread.

So, any comments on the latest chapters? We might finally see some more background on Meliodas

    Pretty great manga.

I'm surprised Diane won. I was certain Hauser would face off against Meliodas as the big boss of the arc, and though honestly I'm a little disappointed he lost against Diane when she had a fraction of her size (and physical power), and wasn't going all out (only used her ability at the end), this does make room for the coming demon blood knights to be the main villains of the arc, and Hauser also commented he wasn't using his weapon, so all's fine. Hauser also seems to be set up as a rival type figure to the Deadly Sins; he has respect and interest for them, and Diane's apology to him also makes it seem like that.

So Cain is .... who? All we know is that he's from Danafor. Next chapter will definitely be an interesting fight.

The next chapter raws look quite interesting. Sadly, the Meliodas fight ends really quickly, but Diane vs. Melidoas I didn't expect to actually happen, and it's going to be cool shiz.

Hausner didn't have his spear with him. He can dish out more powerful versions of the attacks he used against Diane. He's around Gilthunder's tier of strength. The Sins IMO are only threated by higher ranking Holy Knights and the demon drinking ones.

I'm looking forward to Meliodas' interaction with Cain. Maybe it'll reveal a few other things
