You're a great guy, P. Never be ashamed of yourself, be proud of who you ARE!
Of course he wants to put in the Iron Cross Killer, the EMISSARY OF HELL. For it is his duty to fight the great evil for the fate of all spiders. Though I feel the need to warn you that Peni is a very different Japanese Spider-Man rendition. Supaidaman existed forty years before Peni Parker in a completely different series with completely different themes. The only thing they share is there's a robot involved. Just that Takuya's is a giant robot (and helped launch the idea of giant robots in Sentai, as well as poses oddly enough). Peni is an homage to Neon Genesis Evangelion and exists in her own universe. In terms of the sequel? I imagine we'll see Peni and all of the original "Spider people" back with some additions like Spider-Punk, Spider-UK, Supaidaman, Spider-Woman (formerly Spider-Girl), and hopefully Spiderling.
Yeah. But if you buy the individual issues they'll be about 4 bucks a piece.
I assume you prefer the real paper instead of download? I would suggest asking if they have the trade paper back of "Spider-Verse" which contains all of the story and side stories. But it is nearly 700 pages long. If anything you can buy it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Spider-Verse-...28634961&psc=1
I plan on it. And you would be correct. Especially the follow up one shot make it a clear Eva homage.
Sounds like a perfect way to start. Just pick up an issue and if you're interested you can always buy previous issues and learn more. You've taken your first steps onto the path of the true art.
Are you just looking for any Spider-Man story? Yeah, there's quite a few comics out there. The trick is just sort of picking something small and seeing if you like it.
Oh! You're looking for where to read them? Here's the issue concerning Peni specifically. Let me know if you're interested in more and I can help you locate those. https://readcomiconline.to/Comic/Edg...sue-5?id=11985
Miles features heavy in Spider-Verse, but he's really more of the main star in Spider-Geddon. If you enjoyed the film I recommend picking up both Edge of the Spider-Verse and Into the Spider-Verse in their entirety. You'll find its a pretty fun ride. Especially when the Emissary of Hell comes into play.
Of the Spider-Verse? She first shows up in Edge of the Spider-Verse around issue 5 and plays in Into the Spider-Verse. She's currently in Spider-Geddon as well. But a fair warning: She doesn't play huge parts in either one. She's featured, she's interacted with, but she isn't a main character in them.
