In fact, I don't like Targaryens in general

Yeah, Cersei worsens there's no denying it

    But Jaime is indeed awesome

    What about the twins?

Oh yeah, I identified with Jon a lot too. There was also a notable physical resemblance at the time

Dany has always been unpleasant, unnervingly naive and in her Mereen days an absolute prick too. Kicking Jorah was the last drop for me. She's just a veeeery lucky brat.

I liked Tyrion in book 1, loved him in book 2, and from then on it was a continuous sinking. Now he's just a (good) comic relief character at my eyes. I've never minded his POVs but I feel like he's being squeezed too much.

Add it to your read now list

Hmm, sounds interesting. I suppose we take for granted the intelligence and wisdom of a child, so it's always nice when we're reminded we aren't all that much more intelligent - in fact, due to the simplicity of childhood, children can show much more clarity than adults. And it's always nice when a novel brings back memories.

    You'd call Jon dumb?

Of the three you mentioned Jon's the only one I really like, while I'm mid mid in Tyrion's regards and I despise Daenerys.

In general, I love Stannis' justice, the Greyjoys' badassness and the Lannisters' charm

Knowing him, he would probably support Petyr for the spite

    And... who do you support?

How to describe Catch-22... How about "the greatest novel ever written by man or beast"?

I like it a lot The main storyline follows Captain John Yossarian, a bombardier in WWII trying to escape his squadron because in his own words "everyone is trying to kill him". It's an absolutely insane novel that never even tries to make sense - which is exactly how the author feels about war; that it's the completely breakdown of logic. The main character of Yossarian seems completely mad in order to fit the tone of the book, but as the novel progresses you realise that he is completely sane and embodies the basic instinct of survival - and the war becomes less and less significant as you realise that this isn't just about war; it's about all life. We are all stuck in what the book terms a 'catch-22'.
