I don't really like drawing a big ass circular arrow on the map that's supposed to be a "strategy". Might as well send the whole army from one corner to the last and hope for the best.

He did, but I'd have probably gone for a strong fortification and send Riboku with some men hunting or something.

I didn't want to risk it with a 50k army, if Nord had abandoned his mountain, I might've found myself in quite the pinch.

If I were to rewrite my strat now, the only thing I'd change would be send Kokou and 5k bandits to Gokei. Karin is more than capable to fight Riboku with the units/officers she has and a 5k flanking unit would be enough to tip the scale. The honeymoon army is covering wherever necessary, I wouldn't change anything there.

As for Nord, I'm honestly surprised he didn't fortify. It depends on how he'd go about it, but a week of prep for Riboku and the others is...quite a lot.

More unified perhaps, but I wouldn't want too many, because that is the easiest way to miss and get backfired really hard.

    Yeah, that's a real shame.

Alright, but how do you expect someone to write a specific strat to the match what Nord and I played? In a normal setting, it's 100% guaranteed the hills will be fortified. However, since that's not our style, you're pretty much required to make something that will ensure you don't lose by default, because you missed the enemy location.
I can see where you're coming from, but I don't really see a solution to this. I'm also fairly certain I'm the only one maxing out my clauses, everyone else just puts together the bare minimum and sends that.

    Apparently, plenty of them survived.

If everyone shares your opinion, why not have smaller starting areas? Although flexibility adds flavour in its own way.
The strat I made now was quite "loose", but it only covered half of the play field. Don't think I could've narrowed it down any more.

Not as well as seeing Kanmei's head roll.

It's bound to happen when they are written in a fashion that can take on different enemy strats, thus never getting optimised for a single purpose.

That's a one time things because someone people wanked some stupid overgrown crossbows.

There was no other way to take on the 3 (4) beats you had in your front line, other than to pull off a completely absurd gamble.

I need an honest opinion from a seasoned veteran.

What'd you think of my strats in general (quality/creativeness/innovation/use of resources/other)?

Damn, someone put a lot of work into this
