By which I mean people who get hit, are damaged, but keep getting back up.

I'm going to list Whitebeard and Blackbeard before anyone else does.

Those guys you listed are nothing.

I know there are people that make losing an arm/half your face looking like nothing, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Well I've puts scans of Darksied making Whitebeard and Blackbeard looking like ants. And I remember posting Superman tanking a blast equal to "one million nuclear explosions".

Green Lantern Hal Jordan has tanked supernova explosions/blackholes.

Oh and Batman has taken punches from Superman and The General (someone who can hang with Superman) and gotten up with sheer willpower.

Here are the scans.

Wouldn't Superman's feat fall more under durability than endurance?

Wouldnt every comic endurance/dura feat shit on manga ones?

Myst

Not necessarily, there are still some pretty high-level manga series out there(Saint Seiya for example)

Medusa Gorgon. Bish gets cut in half, head sliced in, splits her soul in pieces, just to posses a little girl. Then she infiltrates the enemy and deceives them into working with her and in the end steals her sister's full grown body.

Arachne Gorgon. Chased by Death God's and witches (Her own kind) is just about to meet her end when she decides to split her soul into millions and millions of spiders that spread across the Globe just to come back together 800 years later and seek revenge.

Some random examples that come to mind

Manga
Frieza- Surviving the deep cold of space after being cut in half and taking a spirit bomb.
Guts- He's survived some pretty gruesome stuff.
Toriko- The series has a lot of people who can continue fighting with lethal wounds, such as Mansam getting holes blasted through him, or Tommyrod and Toriko losing their arms.

Comics
Thanos- He's highly resistant to radiation, temperatures, pain, psychic powers, and fatigue. He's also cursed with immortality and can survive without food or water.
Wolverine & X-23- Immune to fatigue, and can fight at full power for days, as well as having regeneration. IIRC Logan himself has been able to fight in a state nearly reduced to a skeleton.

Wolverine definitely. An X-Force issue has him facing up against someone who gave Wolverine every single disease known to mankind all at once, overriding his healing factor but he still pulled through with willpower.

Gonna look for the scan.

I'm going to assume that scan doesn't involve explosive blood diarrhea being expelled from every one of Wolverine's orifices. If it did, then he truely deserves the title.

I read a samurai graphic novel (can't remember if it was a manga or comic) where this guy had to do seppuku. He stabbed himself and then the guy behind him sliced his head off. You know, regular seppuku ceremony stuff. This guy stands up, picks his head up, put it back on his neck, and asks the doctor to sew it back on. For the rest of the story, he was walking around with maggots crawling in his neck.

It was rebar. It wasn't fatal, but it caused him to lose all sense of feeling. Unless we're talking about a different man.

No but taking a bullet through the face and then still functioning normally, that has never happened. I have heard about that stuff but they arent talking or functioning normally after taking a head blow

Z
04-27-2012, 06:26 PM
He's not functioning normally he lost his vision at the time, plus the guy's skin is extremely durable. I remember once when Daredevil was punching him and he was hurting himself more than he was hurting Kingpin just by hitting him.

Berserk yes.

First 3 volumes start off in the future, but at volume 4 it starts at the beginning of the main characters' journey.

If you read the 4th volume and it peaks your interest you should keep reading, but the manga only gets better after a while.

Best feat of durability/endurance feats i've ever seen.

Pre-Retcon Beyonder tanking Molecule Man's attack capable of destroying billions of dimmensions.
Thanos sister tanking multi-universal attacks whille using the Infinity Gauntlet.
Galactus tanking a solar system busting attack, ressurecting some allies and recreating his ship.
